Would you bitches give up an excellent defense (SF or Houston) in order to trade a no-drop player that is out for the season.

The idea would be to trade my defense and RB for their trash player....so, I can drop him and pick up another RB

I am weighing the loss of the bench slot against the benefit of the backup D........and the knowledge that I am giving my competition a sure 10 to 12 pts every week.

My RB is Jone-Drew.....if he is out for the year, I have to lose the bench slot. Because, he is a "no-drop" player in our league. My only option is to trade him to someone who desparately needs a D......and we have 2 of those.

What service is your league on? Most that I have played in the past remove the "no drop" status on a player if they hit ir.

Shit. Correction to my last. I just heard that MJD is only out for 3-5 weeks so he won't be on IR. I'm assuming that he will remain undroppable. DH to answer your original question is to say that I would make the deal to trade a D and MJD if you got some bas ass value in return. Assuming that he comes back healthy, he would have one good match up (NYJ), one bad match up (@MIA) and one mediocre match up (NE) in the playoffs. Since you are leading the league, it's time to start setting your team up for the playoffs. You can afford to lose a couple of games down the stretch to still make it. I would go after someone like Shady McCoy who has some good playoff match ups and is on a team that will be fighting down the stretch to make a run for the playoffs.
