No butter in my chicken and dumplings. This recipe is so good that you don't need any butter. Nor does it ask for it. But as any southern girl would do I switched it up and add some of my own things to it. Not saying that Paula Dean's recipe isn't as good, but I added a Jessica touch to it

We need to do a cooking session soon. Who knows where a hot homemade meal, music, wine and a roaring fireplace can take us?.. Woman, the Jessica touch would make oatmeal a gourmet experience.
Now that I think about it you should pursue a JJ cooking show! I will be in the audience for every show and all taste testings.
