I here you on the names on the chest.
I draw the line when they create that third column.

I must be an old fart too, I prefer no tats but if she is extremely hot I'll look past them.

I love to hear this debate, I dont have any tattoos but began to feel like the minority nun on this board! I advertise as clean cut but tend to feel like most like that edgy piercing, tattoo girls. I think great tattoos on other people looks awesome but just dont jive with my vibe.

I had a client come in one day and after looking at my arms and legs he said he was leaving. When I asked why he told me that my pictures were deceiving and photo shopped because they didn't show my tattoos. He went on to tell me that I should be ashamed of myself for not disclosing that to clients ahead of time.
After I explained that the "tattoos" were henna and would wear off in about 5 more days, he felt pretty awkward. Paid for his session, apologized and left. He did come back a couple of months later and has been a great client ever since Now he likes having a massage when I'm up to my elbows in peacocks, flowers and paisley.
I guess when it comes to tattoos, I have the best of both worlds. I can cover my skin in art when the mood strikes me or (aside from one tiny inked tattoo) just leave it a clean slate. Mind you, I only put them on my arms, hands, feet and legs.

I used to hate tattoos, but now they are so ubiquitous, I hardly notice them anymore. I don't think you should get any, because you are becoming more unique and edgy for not having them.
"No tengo tattoos, papi," should do the trick!

Generally speaking, I don't really care much for tattoos, but I'm finding I like it more on an individual basis. Some women just look hot with them and some don't. But I've never let a tattoo stop me from seeing someone. I try to imagine her without them and if I would see her without them, then I will see her anyway. I do believe there comes a point when theere are just too many, and that could possibly be a distraction.

I generally don't like tats and yourself is spot on. The most distracting tat was this floral design tramp stamp. In the middle of doggie I noticed the entire pattern was a hidden cat's face, complete with 2 eyes staring right back at me!

I wonder if this is an "age" thing? I'm almost (almost!) a senior citizen and don't find them especially attractive. I'm not talking about the hip butterfly or the unicorn on the butt, but I just can't get into a lady with sleeves or a huge mural on her back or across her chest. I'm a libertarian, do whatever you want to yourself, I just don't find it intriguing or attractive and consequently avoid providers that have them. I'm sure there are just as many guys that find this desirable, so to each his own.

Wow, this thread has been an eye-opener!
I didn't realize being tattoo-free was becoming rare.
Y'all gave me a great ad idea for today's ad: "No Tattoos or Piercings. Pure as the Driven Snow".
(especially you, knowshisstuff)

I used to advertise my lack of tan with the Marilyn Monroe explanation (when asked why she didn't tan): "I want to be blonde all over". Now I think that same sentence could explain not having tattoos also. Virgin skin head-to-toe, untouched by sun or man (so to speak ).

Deal breaker for me. One provider was nice enough to use makeup to cover it up. And another designed the tat herself and it was hidden by her beautiful curls.

While I can appreciate the art form, I do not find ink attractive on anyone. Heck, I barely get past pierced ears. But like music, one must deal with it or become a hermit.
So a woman with no ink is a treat.
