I believe the name says it all Escort Client Community...

Besides they have been gracious enough to give businesses who are provider/hobbyist friendly a place to communicate...It's the business forum and if gals can't find or don't know about that section what makes you think they will find a photog forum...

But, as been mentioned earlier the hassles that can arise from having non provider photos listed with your work.

Just make sure your links to your website are listed on your profile and posted in the business area

I would be for a buisness section where those professional photographers can post.....Simply posting an ad and not creating a thread or allowing addtional comments on it.

Or a banner can be purchased as well.

I am sure this idea in some form can be workable. But, not high on the priority list of things that need to get done at the moment. But, who knows
how exactly is it antithetical? this is a community for bringing girls and boys together. photography is the primary medium for making that happen.

how do you know girls haven't had problems finding solid shooters?

the whole point of a "verified" photographer status is to help girls avoid hobbyists with cameras.

the whole argument about using non-provider images is weak sauce, and it's not your problem anyhow. it's the photographer's issue.

not all people who will photograph girls professionally keep a website for that type of work.

The rest of the name is Information Exchange and information that helps providers succeed should be easy to locate. Bathroom cell phone photos only take a provider so far and it is the images that make or break her. You can have great service and crap images and you will lose business because your image says a lot about you and when providers want to enhance their image nd increase their income the first thing they look for are qualified photographers. If its not something that interests you then that's ok but for the others, including providers who have chimed in this thread, it may be something that interests them so let's not forget what the whole name of the site is and the purpose is to share relevant and needed information and for many it is relevant and needed.

LOL, that is stupidly arrogant even by your writing history. I'm not the one painting the world with one sweep of a broad brush.

If you're a professional why are you so intimidated by hobbyists that you must build your self esteem up by posting bull shit statements like the one I called you on?

Your a professional photographer, so stand on your work instead of pompous generalizations you obviously cant' prove.

I think the proof is in the images - when providers post images that are taken by most nonprofessionals you see the difference in quality. It may be a cheap way of getting images but the images are often not marketable. Unless the hobbyist or friend actually takes the time to learn photography then they don't understand what it takes to create an image and there is a huge difference in quality. Some providers don't care about image quality but those are often the ones that complain about lack of work, etc. It's not all about the photos but that is a HUGE selling point - what does she look like...before you try her service it's her image that attracts you and yes, many get work from cell phone images but when they are tired of the level of work they get and want to increase it I also believe it's better to go with a professional instead of "Uncle Jim and his point and shoot".

Default Gentlemen.......

This thread was started to make inquiry into the possibility of having showcases for photographers.

May I strongly suggest that any replies be kept to that topic ONLY?

I really don't care. What the hell is a "professional" anyway? Oh I know its a dude with a backdrop and some strobes?? I have been shooting non-professionally for over 40 years. I am also a hobbyist. If you can take some good photos take some good photos.
The Sex Pistols and the Ramones were not great musician's in fact its a stretch at that. But they got the point across and shook up the establishment which is what mattered. Screw the labels. Whatever works.

yeah...that's why the other guy is butthurt, too. he (in his own words) takes good pictures, too.

here's the deal...the fact that you think being a professional photographer is only about taking good pictures pretty much says it all. every successful pro shooter knows that's only 20% of the game. the rest is marketing, selling, editing, administrating, cleaning, traveling, booking....etc. and that's why girls who've been screwed by wannabe's need better access to a better solution. if you're one of the 1% of amateurs that can fill the bill, good on you, but don't use that as rationale for shitting all over a good idea.

A professional is a person who is engaged in a certain activity, or occupation, for gain or compensation as means of livelihood; such as a permanent career, not as an amateur or pastime.

That is the difference - it's our job - our occupation and it has been mine for almost 25 years now. My vested interested is the quality of the images produced not trying to work out a trade for pussy. My vested interest is my income not trying to get another lay in the hobby. My images are part of my marketing and in turn generate more income - this is not a hobby but it is my profession and although shooting the women on this site is not my entire business it is part of my business so I treat them with the same professionalism as I do when I shoot a politician or an actor or anyone else. It is my job. The biggest complaint I get from the providers after they shoot with a client instead of a professional is that they are not treated professionally. The images are not the best quality, they had to wait an insane amount of time to get the images or once the client has gotten his part of the deal then sometimes they just disappear altogether and the provider never receives her images. I hear this A LOT and that is why I started this thread. It is not a matter of whether a hobbyist cannot provide quality images because I have seen some non-professionals advertise here that do outstanding work - but most hobbyists that also shoot have not taken the time to learn and there is much more to creating images than shooting in automode and getting laid afterwards.

Like I said many times, those trade deals work for some providers but when I travel from city to city and hear the same thing from different providers - the same complaints, the same issues, then it is something that should be noted. This thread was not started to gain more business for me but it was started as a suggestion because of the feedback I get from providers in general.

At this point we are going around and around because the powers that be here don't understand or care or whatever so it is what it is.
