Rich and powerful families don’t count, they always have and always will get preferential treatment. Bush is nowhere near the only example. I’m talking about John Q Citizens. The only real structure racism is against white males who like to fuck the opposite sex. They can be legally discriminated against in all sorts of ways. Same with Asians, they get fucked over even more than whites.

The playing field may never be totally equal without help from the government. At least the unemployment rate differences are narrowing. The playing field is more level now than it was 50 years ago.

One hundred plus years of "Jim Crow" was forced discrimination. Affirmative Action is an inclusive program. It just says consider hiring qualified candidates from all groups. It does not say hire an unqualified minority over a white or any other group. Just ask any Human Resources person at any Fortune Five Hundred Company.

The unemployment rate is 3.5%. By definition that means we are virtually at full employment. Just ask any labor economist.

When Bush43 got admitted into the Harvard MBA program with just a 2.7 GPA, yes he did take the spot from some other student that was more qualified. That does not seem to bother you as much.

You have Clarance Thomas in your avatar. Thomas went to Law School at Yale with HRC and slick Willie Clinton at the same time. When Thomas was admitted was that due to affirmative action or was he admitted based on merit? Just asking for a friend.

Don't think I 've ever heard a prominent Repub call him an affirmative action admission (though it's possible ) but I've heard Dems refer to him as an Uncle Tom. A Georgia Dem state Senator I believe for instance.

all of which are the fault of your beloved democrats who after losing the civil war engaged in a century plus long plan of Jim Crow segregation. if not for that affirmative action (reverse racism) wouldn't have been needed.

Northern democrats opposed "Jim Crow".

1. President Truman intergrated the military

2. President John F. Kennedy started the Civil Rights Act.

3. When Hubert Humphrey started talking about Civil rights for blacks in the 1950's the dixiecrats disbanded and the joined the republican party. The late Senator Strom Thurman was a perfect example. You remember Senator Thurman, he was the staunch segregationist who fathered a child with a Black woman. This was before he joined the repubican party. His good buddy was Gov George Wallace of Alabama. He would not let blacks register for class, so President Kennedy sent the National Guard so that blacks could register. Point is not ALL democrats believed in Jim Crow. It was the southern democrats. You conviently forget about that.

4. BTW, how come your beloved Republicans never did anything to eliminate "Jim Crow"? Republican Senator Strom Thurman filibustered the Civil Rights Act multiple times.

You are welcome for history lesson, valued poster.

most of your points of topic are 100 years out of date.

and yes the Republicans should have. they should have kept the post civil war occupation of the former CSA for as long as needed to bitch slap democrat racists by killing them all.

you do know that the Klan also targeted white republicans too, yes?

it's fact that the residual racism in America is the direct fault of the Democratic party. and they are still the party of racism today. they have never changed and never will

They all switched parties around 1990, Waco. Those who didn’t change parties after LBJ was elected.

Your screaming against racism is about as genuine as the historical photos you used to love posting. You know, the fiery ones…

Spare us the hollow rhetoric.

If we’re are race baiting now in mid March, what does that portend for the rest of the election cycle here on ECCIE?

Bleach? Lasers? More Tucker Carlson worship?

is this another "all dixiecrats became Republicans" nonsense?

you can prove that right?

the demonrats lost control of the south because as generations came they rejected the Demonrat's racist views.

Smith despite his many controversial and potentially racist comments (blacks can't be racist because they say so) is right this time.

It only works that way in communist and other progressive forms of government. Here in the civilized world, the burden of proof is on the claimant.

His is based on scientific findings that you’re uncomfortable with, so write it off as racist. Problems won’t get solved, if there’s a realistic solution, if you can’t admit they exist.
