Well ... it's just a fact that MOST people just do not read shit.
Do they read the instructions for a new power tool or computer game? Probably not.
Sign on my bar says "Proper Dress Required - Dress code enforced!" - yet no one reads it, and men try to come in wearing tank tops.
I have to confess I don't read most signs ... but I do read escort websites (if they have them - not all do). But I read them to keep from fucking up during the session. I don't want the girl thinking ...
"THIS guy is a FUUUUUUUking idiot!"
LOL

I actually believe that anyone is entitled to ask me if I give a discount. Asking is fine... it is part of the free market system. If you can get a discount, good for you!
But, I don't call them out for it. It seems to present me to potential customers (not the one I am calling out but to others who might read what I am saying) in a less favorable light. And, if one is not worried about how one presents themselves, then you do not understand marketing!
I want all potential customers to see me as approachable. I refer many to my website and ask them to read the FAQs and Etiquette under the Consideration tab. That does a lot of screening for me... screening those potential clients who may find that I am not the girl for them!
From my FAQs section:
Q . Are your rates negotiable or do you run specials? A. I appreciate your interest but my rates are absolutely non-negotiable. I pride myself on being a quality companion and my rates reflect that.
If they still ask, I simply say, in private, "I am sorry, but I do not have a discounted rate." If they get insulting with something like "you are too high for your age!" Then I politely say, "I am sorry you feel that way. Others have not felt the same way. Thank you for writing." Then I end it. Not more replies, no posting about them being a timewaster, no wasting of my time worrying about them... I just move on.
Smooch!

I agree with this concept the most.
She is polite and not letting this jeopardize her attitude. The door is open to a guy getting a discount package if she desires.

I think what a lot of ladies aren't taking into consideration is.......is that many ladys also negotiate.
The difference between haggling and negotiation is respect. You can negotiate a rate that works for you without being disrespectful most times. Its all in the delivery. I know most times when I'm trying to book multihours in other cities.......lot of ladies don't even have those rates posted. Especially multi hours. And through screening and talking to them.......some providers haven't even done overnights before.
So let's use this as a scenario ladies. If a guy saw your overnight rate was 1500.......and he only had 1300 because someone cancelled on him short notice..........should he not contact you at all to see if a deal could be arranged. If you say no that's fine and understandable. But many ladies in similar situations after the fact gladly tend to be helpful and negotiate. If you don't that's fine. But let's not assume the sisterhood is so strong that not one lady will budge on her perferred rate just one time.
Its all about time and oppurtunity. But also about asking respectively. Worst she can say is no.
Same as ladies posting of having temporary financial woes here and needing clients to book with them for a special or prepay for a session. Should the lady not even ask or post a special......or should she rule out more options.

In my past work I dealt with hagglers. I didn't like it but I don't look down on them. In plenty of cultures and businesses it's the norm. Weeding them out just went with the job.

I have heard several men tell
me that every provider
they met at some point
negotiated a lower amount.
Many guys were called,texted,
contacted for the sudden special rate.
You don't see men COMPLAIN about
that ,they jumping for joy.
I call it double standards.

Exactly. But I wouldn't look down upon a lady for doing that its a hustle.......and she's just utilizing her sources. Id consider it a priviledge. Similar to if a lady grandfathered my rate in which I last saw her at. I'm sure she wouldn't solicit everyone with a request like that.
And let not bring up how many times guys booked less than stellar sessions with other ladies........to only be told behind the scenes........"you could have seen me, I would have worked a deal in for you." Lol

I bet if i was having a garage sale w/super super low rates they would read all the details
and break their ankles trying to get here seeing me.
Thanks to all the kind gentlemen who take time out to read and inform themselves of all the details beforehand!

Haggling and trying to get the most bang for the buck(pun not intended) is a part of every business.I am an artist in my spare time and I run into the same thing all the time.I choose not to haggle, I simply find a girl who is offering what I am looking for at that time at a rate I am willing to pay, then set things up and have fun!!

What's wrong with Double Standards? Honestly, we have been "conditioned" in this wimpy society to just accept that "double standards" are ALWAYS evil without really logically looking at them.
Sometimes they make perfect sense.
Yes ... if you become a "regular" of a lady - she will often reduce her rate to keep you coming back. It makes sense for her to do this. You've already been screened. You've already proven that you are a safe and respectable client. In total - this means you are a lot less work for her.
All the guys bitch about the $300 / hour standard rate in NOLA - but they could get $250 rates (or even lower) if they just stuck to one or two girls. They don't want to do that though - they want to jump from one to the other at a $100 rate. LOL
I HAVE had ladies contact me and offer me a reduced rate. Why? Maybe I have helped them out in other ways without being compensated. Maybe they aren't very busy.
But I've never taken them up on those offers. There's nothing at all wrong for a client to accept these discounted rates - I just don't do it personally. I get accused of being a "White Knight" often enough on these forums - and some of the guys say I only say the things I do in order to get "cheap pussy". (Other people accuse me of being ... a "provider"! LOL) Check with all my providers - they will tell you I paid full rate PLUS left a tip every single time. My ATF - she would offer me a reduced rate - I won't accept it because - to me, she is WORTH what I pay her now. I can pay a bit more - because the hobby is not my only source of female companionship.

You can presently do this, if you wish.
Just go to your Control Panel and you can turn off the PM feature and also, click a little box that says you'll only accept PM's from Moderators and Admins.
It's been ages since I've done this myself. So you'll have to play around a bit to find where you need to augment your settings.
I would suggest, though, as one female to another ... that even if 95% of your PM's are BS, that other 5% could include some good business and the absolute ONE person that makes everything worthwhile.
"This" is a numbers game. Turning off the ability to get PM's, while understandable in your case, doesn't make good business sense.
Take care,
Elisabeth

I may have been a little misleading... very rarely to they read the website first. If I get an email that is short and contains no information from someone I haven't seen before OR someone right off the bat asks about discounts or specials, it is then that I refer them to my website to read the important info, look at the pictures (entice them to go visit the website) and fill out the contact form with references.
Often, I will not hear back from them, which is okay. I always take it as a sign that they figured out I would not be a good match for what they want. (Non-sexual good match... I am always a good sexual match! LOL)
So, I totally agree with ilovethemgirls... guys do not go to a website as a primary contact or even research.
And, I do not always direct guys to my website. If they send an inquiry via email and include a good bit of information, then I know they have been around at least long enough to know how screening goes.
Smooch!

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought this was the place to find well established providers who have proven they are safe, fun to be with, and worth every penny.
I'm sure many ladies will agree that we, as providers, do not appreciate a gentleman who dictates what he will spend for our companionship. We would rather he look for a provider in the range he is willing to spend his money on.

That is why this conversation is public. I did not start a public thread to "call out" this guy for being a cheapskate time waster. He is the one who took it public. Hence we are discussing why these types of conversations happen in the first place. If he doesn't want providers who haven't actually met him to make comments about him (his complaint in this thread's OP), perhaps he shouldn't annoy the shit out of lots of providers who have never met him by sending us messages wasting our time trying to discuss explicit topics and also complaining that our rates are too high. It's pretty simple.

And, as y'all can see, he did pay the price for starting this thread.
It still baffles me why providers leak stuff from the Ladies' Forums and why men leak stuff from the Mens Lounge... it only gets the person you told in trouble when they decide to broadcast it!!
But that is a totally different thread!!

Hi EW! Glad you are here, girl! For those of you who do not know EW, she is the most awesome of the female Mods!!
I agree with her about the 95% vs 5% comment.
But if anyone ever feels the need to edit their PM settings her is now you do it:
On the left side of the screen you will see Main Menu and below that "User CP" (CP is control panel)
Select "User CP"
Select "Edit Options"
Find the block labeled "Messaging and Notification"
Scroll down to "Private Messaging"
Check the appropriate boxes and the "Save"
You will see that there are a number of options.
One options is that you can also limit your PMs to Mods and Contacts (people who you choose in your network that you will receive PMs from)
The Contact option is on the Main Menu under "Networking".
Hope that helps!
Smooch!

Omg thank you so much for telling me how to turn off PMs!
My mental health > my bottom line.
And even in terms of my bottom line, theoretically, if I'm making over $100K/year doing this, getting 1-2 appts per year via PM is not even remotely worth the headache of receiving a steady stream of pointless time-wasting PM's year-round, including when I'm not even in this region of the country. I never accept bookings via PM anyway, and seriously interested gentlemen will just visit my website.
I started off in this biz charging much less, having fewer boundaries, and doing much more hand-holding around booking appts. The higher I raise my standards around my booking requirements and working conditions, the more I'm able to focus on developing my business in terms of long-term visioning and overarching branding. So I totally disagree with both of you about the 95% vs 5% thing. That used to be my attitude, and I make way more money now that I don't take any bullshit and use my energy to focus on my branding.
