Actually she's not passing incorrect information. In the years since the Pamela Anderson video and in response to other incidents, many states passed laws making it a crime to video a person in a sexual act without consent. Many states also have laws against what is referred to has revenge porn, which is posting sex tapes online for the sake of revenge, or to embarrass someone. If I'm not mistaken there is always liability legal or civil for secretly recording someone having sex and posting the video online.
