First, I have to say that during Perry's tenure in office the state of Texas has made significant economic progress and continues to be close to leading the nation in creating jobs.

With that said, being an ex-NYer, the emphasis on guns in the state of Texas never ceases to amaze me. But my wife is a life-long Texan and it amazes her more than me. Perry got laughed off the national stage during his short-lived presidential campaign. Only in Texas could a guy like Toth get elected if he puts such legislation high on the priority list.

Which, by the way, is completely illegal. That's why these stupid bastards keep cutting from schools and adding "user fees" like toll roads.

They've got a large surplus to deal with this biennium. But won't put money back into the schools. Plus the fuckups with Medicaid means that no matter how much Texas puts into the fund, they're going to come out behind.

GUNS AND BIBLES FOR EVERYBODY!

YEE HAW! No wonder guys like OP love it here so much. Stupidity reigns.

Hey, most of us Texans put up with Perry's dipshit politics because he stays the fuck out of our Business and let's us get on with making a living and doing pretty much any thing we want.

Texas is probably the worse State in the Union to live in, except for the other 49.

That sounds an awful lot like government should work. If you don't like it, then leave. You and Assup can go to San Fransissysco together...you deserve each other.

Greatest state in the nation. Toth and the others are fucking bad asses for standing up for the peoples rights. I know it might seem odd for some of the California and New York limp wristed cock suckers who have never seen men with a set of big fucking balls (unless they are bouncing off their chin) take a stand for what's right, but that's how we roll. That's why Toth left New York, to get away from the punk ass bitch boys.

IF YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH OUR BIBLES OR OUR GUNS THEN GROW A SET BALLS AND COME TRY AND TAKE EITHER ONE OF THEM FROM US!!!

But none of you will, because you are fucking pussys.

Why? Every dictatorship should have its own Siberia.

CJ (and the other liberal idiots) are wrong again, Texas is dealing with a budget surplus, as well as a an increase in the State's "rainy day" fund.............Austin legislators are fighting over how to spend the surplus !

CJ; can you ever get any facts correct ?

You are consistently wrong on almost every post you make.

If federalism was allowed to work the way the founders intended, we'd have some states full of self reliant conservatives with a state government that left them the Hell alone, and some states full of liberal weirdos with intrusive state governments invading every aspect of their lives. The federal government was originally intended to be small, leaving the states with a wide range of choices in how they chose to govern themselves.
