The Answer to Your Question

Waco Kid, Yes Israel played a part, although Turkey would have deserved more credit if the two sides had pulled off a deal. They were close in April of 2022. Then the civilian deaths in Bucha came to light. And Russia proposed that it would have a veto over a military response by Ukrainian allies who had agreed to serve as guarantors of peace. At that point Boris Johnson, who had tried to sabotage a deal from the start, pulled the UK out as a guarantor.
If the USA and other western governments had pushed the two sides to keep talking there was a good chance that an end to the war could have been negotiated. But they didn't.
Which brings me around to the answer to your question, why. The Biden Administration and western allies didn't end the conflict because they wanted to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian.

That ain't gonna happen. These geriatric Trump fan boys in this forum live in tin foil land as told to them by Fox, Townhall, Fucker Carlson and whatever other far right silly shit they can find on the internet. That's the gospel to them.
The only person who can end that war is Putin and he is not going to end it until he gets exactly what he wants. Why? Because he does not have to end it until he gets exactly what he wants. Why fold when you have all of the cards and you have the best ally in the world in your corner with your bottom bitch Trump?
I never cared for Biden, but at least he had the balls to not be Putin's bitch and just step aside and let him do whatever the fuck he wants without resistance. Putin has his bitch so well trained that Trump won't even blast him in public even though the orange fat fuck is in front of a camera every damn day speaking his nonsensical English language that only his goofball brainwashed cult can comprehend and agree with.

... Biden was Putin's bitch from the start. ... Which is why
Putin started the aggression in the first place.
Because with Biden on - he could! ...

Here is a link to an article about the topic.
https://www.businessinsider.com/isra...ce-deal-2023-2
In a sprawling, five-hour interview posted to his YouTube channel over the weekend, Naftali Bennett — Israel's prime minister at the time Russia invaded Ukraine — discussed his efforts to negotiate a ceasefire, claiming he had extracted a pledge from Russian President Vladimir Putin to not assassinate his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
In the interview, Bennett himself notes that it was not the US, France, or Germany that put an end to any peace talks. Rather, it was Russia slaughtering hundreds of civilians in a town outside the Ukrainian capital, a war crime discovered just about a month after the full-scale invasion began.
"The Bucha massacre, once that happened, I said: 'It's over,'" Bennett recalled.

I'm struggling to find a definition of "reputable" that equates to your definition of such. Could you define a source other than Nina Jankytits?

Gentlemen, Thanks for bringing this to the board's attention. I thought Israel and Bennett just played a bit part in peace negotiations during the beginning months of the war. However, after listening to part of said 5 hour interview, I believe I was wrong.
When I finish listening, I shall report back. But what I can tell you, from what I've seen so far, is that the Business Insider is way off in its characterization of the interview. The truth lies closer to what the Waco Kid said than you might think TxDot.

McCain, You can't trust MSNBC, CNN, ABC, the WSJ, NYT, etc. on this anymore than you can trust what you're describing as "tinfoil land." Al Jazeera's reporting is reasonably balanced and well informed. Some of the Ukrainian newspapers do a good job, although you have to take them with a grain of salt. The Economist is at least realistic, although very anti-Russian. For a while it has recognized that Ukraine is losing the war, and that there's corruption in the Zelensky administration.
There's a poster in another political forum on another hooker board, international sex guide, named Questner who I think is Russian. The most informative info on this conflict that I've read, save the NYT article I linked to earlier, is some of Questner's translations of foreign language articles from the Russian and Ukrainian press.

The part about Russia starts around the 2:20 (two hour and twenty minute) point, although you don't get into the meat of the matter until around the 2:40 point. I'll be back with a summary soon.
