Actually according to this the article in question was not written by Hegseth.

In sum, while Hegseth did not write the aforementioned article about rape, he was publisher of The Princeton Tory when the issue in question was released. Publishers generally focus on and are responsible for a magazine's editorial and commercial direction.

What's obvious is that Hegsepth put his seed on her stomach because he did want to use a glove. If he put something in her drink, there is not going to be any resistance or trauma.
