Actually I was not really disagreeing with Waco on this issue. I saw one small part of Beijing, although I did travel to other parts of the city such as the Olympic Stadium. Like any major city in the world, there are parts that are undesirable.

In the US, we think of Buicks as fuddy-duddy cars that our grandfathers might have aspired to own back in the day. Younger Americans...not so much.


But in China, people think of them as fashionable rides for execs and government officials. I shit you not!

I agree. I have never owned a Buick and doubtful I ever will.

Compared to the other cars on the road in Beijing, the Buick was among the most luxurious. Thanks for the link. Interesting.
