Bring an appropriate gift. Examples include:
macaroni glued to a plate in the shape of boobs
a bottle of vodka that you've chugged half of on the way over
a handful of pennies
McDonald breakfast items, particularly in the late afternoon
Twilight butt plugs
pamphlets espousing the virtues of Scientology
scissors
puzzle books with the answers helpfully filled in
self-sealing stem bolts
and the ever classic hamburger in a can

I can only vouch for two of these personally, but they went over really well.
