Some pimps are no different from a man who abuses his wife or women in general. They beat you down, just not physically, but mentally. You aren't allowed any credit cards in your name, you're not allowed to have a bank account strictly in your name, you have no "petty" cash, you're shut off from family and friends. The list goes on.

Some madams are just like male pimps, but again there are excepts to the rule. I worked for a madam who was great to work for. She took a small portion of my fees, but I was happy to pay her because she advertised, she screened and she booked my clients. Basically, pretty much what an assistant does for some ladies. The only difference, she had established clientele.

Let's be honest. There are some providers in this hobby who could benefit from some good management. How many times have we seen a post from a provider who is broke, in trouble, needs help, has nowhere to turn? Even some high-dollar girls post those from time to time.

Let's say that those girls got involved with a manager. Not a pimp, a manager. He handles the marketing and logistics, as well as screening. Expenses (hotel, advertising, etc.) come off the top, and then the manager takes 50% for himself. 25%, he also takes but places in a rainy-day fund (or savings account if you prefer) for the provider. 25% goes to the provider for walking around money. He treats her well, and she stays clean. If there are issues with LE, medical, etc., that's handled as a business expense, not out of her cut. He makes sure that she never has to post on Eccie that she's broke with noplace to go.

I will guarantee you that there are providers (some but certainly not all) who, under 3 years of this arrangement, would have a lot more left over (the savings account) than they would under their own management.

It was humorous Scuba...and I agree there are very few. And the hobby has caused pain on both sides. So maybe legalization is the key to saving the world of the hobby.
