Fields should be the starter until the team loses 2 or 3 games because of him. He hasn't lost any games for the team yet this year. Defense lost them both.

Can’t speak for everyone but I’ve seen this movie before. I know you love Tomlin but come on….does this team look anything different than last 6 years? Pretty decent…but the standard is GREAT!!!

I do agree on Fields. Looks like Tomlin is gonna roll with Russ. Hope he proves us wrong.

I think the 2024 offense is the best its been since 2018 or so. Definitely better than at any time during the Kenny-era, and I'd rank it above Ben's last couple years, too. It's nice to have a QB who can run outside the pocket again. Haven't seen that since Mike Vick. Fields has a rocket for an arm, too.

The D is solid once it wakes up, and can still dominate a game when they're firing on all cylinders. I think this is the best Steelers team since at least 2018.

Having a rocket arm doesnt mean shit if you dont hit the reciever in stride.... his accuracy is not good.

Wilson is much better in passing. He cant run as well as fields but his overall command of the position is or should be better.
Time will tell......

Chizz, Fields has been pretty accurate this year. Every QB misses some throws. I posted his numbers and he’s been better than some big name guys this year. The problem is the offensive play calling is mundane, receivers suck and so does the O Line. Fields legs have bailed them out so far. Not sure Wilson, at his age can duplicate that. I think he would be a sitting duck.

we will see if they put him in this game... its not the game i would have picked, the jets are damn good at rushing the qb so the oline better tighten up. if frazier doesnt play, its not going to be pretty

i hope im wrong but if highsmith isnt back, rogers is going to have a big day passing. vegas has the jets as a 1 point fav and vegas knows more than anyone else so we will see

and i disagree as to fields and his accuracy passing, i dont think its good and he doesnt seem to find his second or third reads that well

Flat out disagree with this….too many O-line blunders that Fields covered up with his speed.
I’d take the over on Wilson’s sack number.

Fields has one of the best total QBR in the league right now, completing over 66% of his passes. Sorry that the stats don't fit your narrative, but you're clearly barking up the wrong tree here.

Also, Wilson won't be able to avoid the rush like Fields does (and makes it look easy). It would be the height of stupidity to take Fields out right now. Big Ben just said as much yesterday on his podcast.

Exactly. Fields is doing things right now that most QBs in the league are incapable of doing. Common sense dictates you stay with the hot hand.

Thru Week 6:

Justin Fields: 10 total TDs, 1 INT

Patrick Mahomes: 6 total TDs, 6 INT

It would be retarded to replace Fields with Wilson at this juncture. Fields' lone INT wasn't even his fault.

His qbr is 54 thru 6 games which 20th in the league. If that is ur idea of great than you are in the group that thinks tomlin is a god for never having a losing season
