Thanks dear. The aloe helped. Guess I should researched better before going under the blade. The lady I meet with appreciated the extra effort.

I even buy the matrix 3 blades from Hy-Vee. And at $5 for 4 I can go thru (at same rate) as many as 1 years blades for the cost of a 8 pack of mach 3's. I change my blade every month and have separate blades for upper & lower jobs. (old lower becomes new upper since it's not used/abused as much.)
Thanks Bomb Pop. I will have to remember that.

If you're going to use anything to help ease the pain of shaving, instead of shaving cream....use a hair conditioner. A nice cheap one like Suave will work just fine. Makes shaving a breeze and it'll make that area nice and silky soft.

use some Benadryl to dry up the area and helps stops the itching.
you will get in grown hairs being your first time.
go Walgreens and talk to the girl behind the Phar counter she will help you...
next time use a Lady-Bic they are made for that area.. the pink ones... LOL

I have never had any issue with shaving. At most, I'd use a little body wash in the shower to cut the friction, but I don't find it all that necessary.

I guess I'm just not all that sensitive.

I've turned several men onto it. The key is to use it right after you shave. The Nutrugena oil is awesome too!

Default Safety is important

Shaving is a good idea; it is an easy way to keep the crabs away. After shaving you can get a merkin, or both the guys and gals, to keep from having friction burns.
The Merkin has its origins in ancient history, as early as 1450, according to the Oxford Companion to the Body. The vag wig was originally used for health and sanitary reasons (crabs, or pubic lice were a common problem), because without the marvels of modern medicine, sometimes little could be done other than a full-on shave. Left with no pubic hair, some women opted to wear a wig over that region.

I have been waxed a few times, and I think it's the only way to go. I hate pubic hair, everything all tangled and tugging and sweaty, it's horrible. I tried shaving the sack once and the bottom of the tub looked like I just skinned a woodchuck with all of the blood and hair, and with the itching and pain from my cut up sack I would never shave there again. I have never had any itching from the waxing, but it does hurt a little and certain places it will hurt quite a lot, but the more that you wax the less it will hurt. And after the pain, say 1-2 days you feel clean, clean, clean!

Once you've used a depilatory cream, the hair grows back slowly, and is finer and easier to shave. I use the cream once every couple of months, and touch up the area with a razor weekly.

I use conditioner and I love it. I do it last in the shower so the hair and skin has time to soften before putting a razor over it. I also use alcohol wipes after. They burn like crazy but they work!

As an alternative to going bare, you might consider using an electric trimmer to trim it very close, then use a conditioner on the hair. You can trim it so close that it just has a very subtle but soft fuzz that looks clean and well kept.

Kind of gives it that 5:00 shadow look that a lot of women find sexy on a man. You know, the "Flintstone." LOL.
