There is a good senario for it to come out 269 to 269. Then, since the House will in all likelyhood stay Republican, they would elect Romney. The Senate, which in all likelyhood stay Democrat, will elect Biden.
One thing that many do not realize is only about half of the States have laws requiring the Electors to vote the way the popular vote of their State dictates. What a mess it would be if Electors did not vote the way the vote reflected.
I suspect that would be the death of the Electorial System.

I think it won't be as close as everybody believes. I think Obama will win convincingly in the battleground states and Western turnout will help his margin in the popular vote ... Not that it matters. Electoral College will be an easy win for POTUS and all the constitutionality and librarians will be howling for an end to it.
Book it,Danno!

Romney wins Electoral College vote with 300 plus, also wins popular vote, Ohio will still be counting votes 10 days after election and it will not even matter. Senate ends up 50/50 with Ryan casting deciding vote. Liberals will blame everything from Sandy, Fox News, and John Kerry.

Obama 290-248. Senate 52D+1I and 47R.
And I predict a Hillary rout over Ryan in 2016.

Tex, you're misquoting Rush Limbaugh and you probably know better. Rush said that if, as he believed, that Obama was going to advance a very left wing agenda then he hoped OBAMA would fail, not the country.

Ok, then what about Mich McConnell, was he misquoted?
Quote:
McConnell: The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.
|
What about the meeting that took place the day the President was sworn in, are we getting that wrong too?
Quote:
According to Draper, the guest list that night (which was just over 15 people in total) included Republican Reps. Eric Cantor (Va.), Kevin McCarthy (Calif.), Paul Ryan (Wis.), Pete Sessions (Texas), Jeb Hensarling (Texas), Pete Hoekstra (Mich.) and Dan Lungren (Calif.), along with Republican Sens. Jim DeMint (S.C.), Jon Kyl (Ariz.), Tom Coburn (Okla.), John Ensign (Nev.) and Bob Corker (Tenn.). The non-lawmakers present included Newt Gingrich, several years removed from his presidential campaign, and Frank Luntz, the long-time Republican wordsmith. Notably absent were Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio).
For several hours in the Caucus Room (a high-end D.C. establishment), the book says they plotted out ways to not just win back political power, but to also put the brakes on Obama's legislative platform.
"If you act like you're the minority, you're going to stay in the minority," Draper quotes McCarthy as saying. "We've gotta challenge them on every single bill and challenge them on every single campaign."
|
It's fucking disgraceful JD. And you can't have an agenda of blocking everything the president tries to do and think it won't effect the entire country in a negative way.

I predict that you will be the same cocksucking, homophobic, racist asshole that you were before Obama gets re-elected. But you will probably create yet another id for your foolish banter.
