I have noticed that the Pro Domme's that don't offer sex will clearly state it on their website whereas sensual Pro Domme's will hint at sensuality and will not state that they don't offer sex. You can't expect a Pro who is sensual to state on her website that she offer's a sexual experience, sometimes you have to read between the lines when you do your research and hope that you don't find the "no sex" statement that you are looking for. Several of you have replied that communication, reading between the lines and doing lots of research are important factors in finding and experiencing the kind of dom/sub play one would like. I agree in principle.

However, many ladies in this profession absolutely refuse to discuss anything specific over the phone or in emails. My suspicion is they are afraid of some kind of entrapment. The cynic in me thinks they are like a car salesman--they want to get you in the door before any specifics are discussed, thinking that once the client is there, he will cough up the donation no matter what. That makes it tough to do lots of valid research.

BTW--what happened to the showcases and the chat. Are they not available anymore?

Add to that, from what I haven't been able to read--is I think many guys who go for the sub play with a lady usually don't offer much in the way of specifics if they write a review for fear of divulging things they would rather keep to themselves.

I could be wrong. I just don't think it's easy. The word Dom or sub has different meanings to individuals. Kinky does also. I agree lots of communication is required. But really, don't many of these ladies think we are on one end of the line jacking off when we call, so they don't want to spend a lot of time dilly-dallying on the phone with someone they think isn't going to show up anyway.

One rule of thumb that I think holds true... if you see a lady advertising on ECCIE or another provider-type website, odds are you should consider them to be a kinky provider. If you see an ad from a domme in a place like DDI, or some other more domination website, odds are they aren't doing anything sexual with/to you (maybe you'll get to jack at the end, but that's about it).

Barney is right, most ladies don't discuss much over the phone. If you truly DO need more information, try doing some background research on them first. Look for their website, scan places like Max Fisch (for pro's) to see if they are listed. You will probably NOT find any real reviews like we see on here for pro's. From my discussions with them they prefer not to be reviewed. But if they have been around for a while, there's a good chance they know what the hell they are doing (not to say some providers don't have similar skills, but most don't seem to invest the time and effort in gear and training to learn that sort of thing).

Barney, showcases are being worked on as I understand it. Sections of ECCIE are being worked on and may be down periodically. Or so I have been told.

This lifestyle is not easy, nore should it be, in my opinion. You will not usally find open reviews due to the fact that the majority of others will flame you in forums due to their own ignorance or insecurites.

I personally have searched and found what I have been looking for. Consider it a work in progress....has it been easy? No, some disappointments along the way, but realize you are searching in a different field; not the quick review search of a provider and off you go and have your fun and move on.

In my opinion, your first session is your primer.Take the plunge after getting as much information as possible, then meet and discuss. A connection may take place, maybe not. But realize it is not a one session kind of encounter.

Take sex out of the picture then discussion is open. Dom/sub encounters are legal since there are no illegalities going on. Book with a pro and you can talk about money for services, because the services are legal.

Soooooooo if you're asking questions and getting answers, that woman is talking about and agreeing to a pro Domme session. There should be a lot of questions from her and screening will not be do you have a p411 but rather are you affiliated with any organizations? seen/done Real Life? What specifically and in general interests you about BDSM? What are your No's etc?

Shouldn't be any question a pro Domme won't answer. (Keeping in mind she has her BS/time waster radar going)

I have been a top for many a year (ya I get older pretty soon too) and could not personally put the passion I have into an hour or a cash for service basis. Providers are awesome when they can do that (I highly respect those that can) but the sexuality of a top/bottom relationship is just something I personally could not encapsulate into a session. I have heard there are those who do, and none that I've heard of involve sexuality. I guess I will keep my eyes more open to see if there are some who truly can do both, but since I don't switch, I'd just have to take their word on it. Kinda a situation that will be difficult to find a true answer. My suggestion would be that if you truly want to be a sub, search for a top and built that relationship and save hobby'ng for the sexuality part.

You do know that there is a place for reviews for Pro Dommes right? Sexy is not something that you can fake. Being sexy while fully clothed and driving someone to the point of absolute madness is a talent. Humiliating a man while making him all the while still feel like one is what separates the best from the rest. Sounds like you either did not say exactly what you are looking for or she just did not give a flying fig. I would suggest the next time you play in that arena you do your homework first. If you see a domme with an ad on backpage that has no reviews or has no other web presence then you risk the same thing as you would with a cash and dash escort. Always, always do your homework. Next time try someone reputable or maybe you should say what you are looking for from the start. If you are not allowed to add your imput prior to play you run not walk away. Just because you are not getting sex does not mean you should not get good customer service. I do edgeplay and it is VITAL to discuss things prior to sessioning. If they do not feel the need to do this RUN AWAY.

I can't totally agree with your take. As a pro domme fancier for a number of years..I left the provider realm behind. Had some wonderful experiences w/pro dommes and over time some freaky cool, deep connections occur. Because I'm a big believer in communicating w/the other person. But...to hit the I agree part...I came back to the provider realm because I want the option of sex on the table...makes it more intense. I still request sessions much like my days in the pro domme world...but with the right provider...there are some tasty add-ons that occur.

I should've read Krunkman's post before I shared...totally agree. The best pro domme session I ever had was w/Mistress Montana of Dallas when she was road tripping...She quizzed me thoroughly...explored my interests in depth and then proceeded to craft a mind blowing experience. Had I not been communicative it wouldn't have been what it was. The vast majority of the ladies in both fields are good biz people...they want to establish an ongoing client....so the burden is on us to provide the "kink data" to help them jack one out of the park in this very specialized and tricky arena.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS explain your interests and experience level and be upfront about it. If it is a reputable Domme she will flat out tell you what's not on the menu. If she tries to bait and switch... she's new and looking for a quick buck in my opinion. There is always the exception though...
