RK, Woody, PJ. This thread has once again brought it to my attention that it’s time for a meeting of the Council to discuss matters of great import to the nation, most notably the best version of Faded Love. The candidates are Patsy Cline or Ray Price and Willie Nelson with acknowledgement that no one was ever better than Bob Wills. Voting to take place no earlier than the consumption by all parties of a half dozen beers accompanied by repeated playing of the aforementioned Faded Love …

It's past time for the gathering. I claim the proxy of the out-of-towners should they not be able to attend. They've got no ear for music anyway.

Hmmm that is a risk that I will have to take. From what I know of you guys, y'all seem to be a pretty "stand up" bunch. I would trust my name wouldn't be slandered too badly. Plus I am a firm believer of letting the boys be boys.

No, I am sad to say that a trivial matter known as work has kept me from sounding the horn and calling the gang together. I will get my priorities straight soonest and remedy that failure. Who knows, maybe Ansley will reconsider. We could always have the gathering at a large venue and let her sit on the other side and claim not to know us ...
