There are so many beautiful, talented GFE ladies in the $200 to $250 range, I cannot see paying $300+ for a provider that is no better looking or talented than the $200 provider. For me, it's a monetary decision. Two sessions @ $200 or one session @ $400.

Houston in particular, has always been called "cheap" by many escorts who travel to the Texas areas.

I think it has more to do with where most traveling escorts come from, like those regions where it is a much higher living expense related area. If you have an escort who charges 300-400 an hour that is from California, people living in California might not think much about paying that rate because it is far more expensive to live in that region, (hence people in California have higher incomes than Texas folk). As opposed to the Texas areas where it is cheaper to live so income brackets are substantially lower.

Everyone is always on a budget. You are seeing more escorts and more young girls getting on line now and advertising as escorts because over the years there has been so much publicity over these escort internet boards and their reviews. There has been a ton of publicity in the news about Back page and call girls.

So it stands to reason as the economies in other areas slump that more women will turn to escorting and advertise in these areas.

There are various types of clientele out there that like different things. There are many business men who do not feel comfortable going into a "Spa", and prefer the illusion of a real "date" with an intelligent woman (they actually want more than a "wham, bam, thank you mam, moment). Typically this type of client has a lot of disposable income and shelling out 300-400 for an hour is no big deal.

Then there is the average "joe" whose income is limited. He may be more prone to visiting "Spas" or Back page looking for something within his means. (I am not downing the average joe here, just stating my observations and experience).

As far as Texas being cheap, or even Houston for that matter I only see those ladies complain who come from other areas/states. Their complaints are mostly about hobbyiests who live on these boards day to day.

The ladies who don't advertise or even post on these boards generally don't deal with board hobbyiests, their clientele are mostly "lurkers" who are not interested in getting involved in posting on these type boards but looking for specific type escorts through these boards.

I only pay for quality. I've had providers that charged a lot then wanted to lay there like a corpse. If my provider (you know who you are) is appreciated I always include the tip and have frequency with our sessions.

I show appreciation for a job well done, some guys are just cheap jerks.

I strongly believe that each provider should charge the rate she's comfortable with, but if I can have a session I really enjoy for under $200, why would I pay more? (I'm sure that some guys have reasons for choosing to pay more, I just don't share them.)

Houston is fortunate to have a lot of good talent at a variety of price points. And if hobbyists share information (and we do) word about good talent spreads. The silly assumption that you have to pay $300+ for a great session doesn't hold water.

To me, the hobby is in many ways like other performing arts. Some folks want to drop $1000 for great seats for a touring act. Others would rather spend $20 to sit stageside and hear an up-and-coming artist perform. One may have better marketing, but both will provide a memorable experience.

Yes but I'm talking about a new concept. A dirt cheap agency. Why? I don't know but wouldn't it be interesting to see just how low Houston can go, pricewise?

We could call it "The People's Agency". I could just staff it with ladies who couldn't cut it at the other agencies. There are plenty of them and most with awesome service. Just a little bit lower down on the looks scale.

I would say that is "seller market" as long I continue seeing prices being increased over $250 range and also new girls entering the business at the same range. As long I don't see those prices going down it means there are actually folks paying those inflated prices. Is simple logic.
And don't get me started with quality for the menu and price.

I can bet you money that the latina agencies prices will go to $200 easily and they will still have a large clientele. Give it 6 months and you will mark my word :-)

Hell just froze over. I fully agree with this guy.

First of all, I've never equated great service with price, however I've equated looks with price, but never equated looks with great service. I hope that didn't lose anybody.

I'll take two agencies and use for a point of reference. At one time at Wildflowers, you could get some of the best service in town from 150-200, but IMHO they didn't have the 'eye candy' that Escape had. Escape also charged around 240.

I had a lot of great times at Wildflowers with hot MILF's with huge tits for 150-200 and I knew I would get top notch service (GFE, multi bells) at places and ladies I felt comfortable with. I also felt real comfortable with the owners. On occasion I would check out Escape website and really desire a trip or to with some great 'eye candy', but I never did because getting multi bells and a lot of GFE was more important than a maybe great session.

We can go forward in time to Juniors places. I think the fee was 140-160, but I don't remember. I remember great times with hot latinas and the hour was yours. A lot of us have spent time with Wildcat Maria, not the greatest 'eye candy' but on many occasions was probably the best session I've ever had. She took things to another level.

A lot of us go back to those days and the times we had.

Back to the original question, are the Houston guys cheap? Not really, because our standards were set with the first days of the escort review system with ASPD, which really kept things in check, and the standards were also set by places like Wildflowers and Juniors. At the end of the day, price hasn't equated great service, but has instead equated with 'eye candy'.

Before finishing this post, I just want to make another comment related to my above comments. Wildflowers had some 'eye candy', girls like Fancy and Lindsay that I saw, however through the lineup, Escape just had more 'eye candy'. Thing is, to me, girls like Candace Anderson, Hope, Cherry, Ava Baker, and Holly Hardy is exactly what I wanted and was 'eye candy' to me. However Escape had some true beauty queens in their lineup, but you paid extra for the pleasure of having the beauty queens.
