I think most of the posters have Tiger dead on. Too much too soon - but not because he didn't work like hell and was driven by his Dad to achieve it, arrogance to the nth degree, never let 'em see you sweat distancing veneer, etc. etc. etc. is right on the button. All of the things that many "successful" people surround themselves with - some of it has to be done because of a real need to keep the graspers and leeches away and then it gets, well, weird and obsessive.

More on that in a minute, the OP's question is important. No, Tiger's behavior isn't very professional; neither the club abuse nor the loud profanity is a way for one of the most successful and professionally accomplished people to behave on national TV. Though some may think it could make him seem more human in his dealings with his physical and psychological demons, it doesn't. It comes off as a small-minded and spoiled child's temper fit.

Essentially, Tiger is a prick. And, he is a calculating cold fish. People sense this and no amount of anything will cure that until he ceases to be a prick. "Hobby sense or radar" isn't the only sort of sixth sense people have. We all have a certain degree of intuition that kicks in. Until he can figure out who he wants to be when he grows up and finds "inner peace," this erratic behavior will continue and he will continue to make that "sense" tingle.
