My dogs do not care if I talk about them . . . they know who controls the distribution of treats.

I always ask a gentleman if he is married or not mainly because I want him to know that I don't judge his decision to see a provider! Let's face it.....I'm sure he feels guilty to begin with! He is seeing me for a reason and if he wants to discuss the SO, then I will listen! Other than that, my goal is to make him happy!

If a guy talks about his SO, it's cool I listen. If he don't then it's fine by me too. I'm not one to judge cuz he's here to see me.

there are a few things that are buzzkills during a session.
* talking about their SO or BF or family, unless of course we've been together several times and i ASK her about them [rarely]
* bitching about how slow things are, how she has cash flow problems, how she could use a large tip, how she would appreciate it if i paid her car payment, etc.
* flaunting/boasting about how much money she made in the last year, how her stock portfolio is up 30%, how she's not only supporting her kids but her sister and her kids, etc.
* how she really doesnt want to do this but needs the cash.
unless she is really Really REALLY deliteful, she's off my gvha list.
being a chatty cathy [talks about all kinds of stuff but intimate delites] is pretty close to the above.

To truncate this list:
If girl talks about relationships other than the "You boning her" kind.
If girl brings money into the conversation.
I would add bringing up religion or politics to the list. But one time a friend of mine said she would love to give Bill Clinton a BJ while he was playing the sax... and you know what, that just filled me with patriotic pride.

daen, there is value in abstraction - sets the general idea. thx for going up one level.
but there is also value in specifics, which is why i passed along some things that i have experienced over my 11+ yrs in this sub-culture. sometimes, we dont see the specific when all we know is the abstract.
plus, i've also learned from all of those experiences. that's the most important part.

I really don't understand why it bothers any of you. I think they are just trying to be conversational. Oftentimes I think they are trying to find a one size fits all typecasting for why men cheat, so they can apply it to their own future relationships. Unfortunately for them, the reasons men cheat are very complex, although a good starting point is that men find 18 year old drop dead gorgeous girls hard to resist, especially if she acts like your are the world's greatest lover, and when you aren't in bed, she acts like you are the funniest and smartest man she has ever known, and would really prefer a nice hamburger and a beer, with a good show on TV, and would never complain when you go out with the boys for poker, because she treasures the time you are with her.

Wait, wait... wait. What if the provider asks if she would be interested in a threesome and then starts talking about what she would do to the SO?

THAT is fine. Matter-o-fact when the wife used to play too that would come up.
What doesn't go over is when a lady tries to therapize (hey lookie I made a new word!) someone else's marriage.
Marriage counselors/therapist are a helluva lot cheaper by the hour.

Too true, sir. I meant not cheapen or such your post, but occurs that I may have come off doing so.

daen, no cheapening at all, just pointing out that there is value in abstraction and in specifics.
as well as possible over-simplifications in abstraction and possible TMI in specifics.
you know, the yin and yang of thoughts, concepts, and details.
btw, i love the the little symbol on your avatar's headband. infinity and time.

I too am a bit reluctant to share SO information, if a provider is asking, i would prefer her to state why she wants to know......as for me I think it crosses the lines for me to ask her about her SO or kids or anything else.....if she tells me as far as i am concerned it between the two of us.......

I love them to tell me about their SO.
"Oh my gawd, my husband can't f*ck me this good."
"Hurry, my husband might be home any minute."
Yeah, let's play cheating wife for an hour or two!

I haven't one gal ask me if I'm married. Like it's mentioned already here, some gals love the fact that they're fucking someone's man. I'm fairly open to discuss anything. I have nothing to hide. I usually know if a provider has a BF or husband. Heck, I've even told her to invite him in many times!

I may ask if you are married, but nothing about your wife. If you feel the need to talk about her, I will listen while rubbing your hair :-)
