I agree if you are visiting or live in the Bay Area myredbook is the site that is predominately used.When I first became an independent provider redbook is the first site I advertised on and my very first review is posted there.
I am based in Vegas and with redbook you have to really be cautious because 90% of the ads are b&s agencies acting as independents.Certain areas there are specific sites that are used more.In Vegas TER is used way more than myredbook but if you live or visit SF and look at TER SF section it is a ghost town.Eros is an advertising site but you can always find an ad on Eros and then cross-reference with any particular sites you use to see if the provider in question is reviewed.

Why not use a free option like just using facebook, myspace, or more appropriate faceporn? Just add people you know are ok. Easy verification by just looking at who they are friends with.

Very bad idea!Facebook,myspace,etc. are not adult advertising sites.
I know some ladies use these sites and that is their choice.
I,myself would never advertise this business on a site that has minors and is routinely checked by law enforcement.There are many adult oriented advertising sites that are free or pay a small fee to advertise.Facebook and those similar sites is not easy to verify a gent through there.Anyone can add a friend doesn't mean necessarily they know them just means they accepted a friends request.

You don't have to advertise just use it exclusively to add people that you have seen before. There doesn't have to be anything posted. No pictures no words so nothing can be discovered. You can also add other providers as friends. You can accept a provider ok request from a person just as easily as accepting a friend request, it's just up to the provider to care.
