There have been some promising developments on this front. Trump's trying to get McConnell booted from Senate leadership, but all 50 Republican Senators appear to be behind McConnell. Trump's picks aren't winning elections.

It's going to be interesting to see if Cheney wins the primary. I dislike neoconservatives, but am still tempted to donate to her campaign.
