The only mention of an intended use in the Secod Amendment implies a non-hunting, non self-defense role for firearms in the hands of "The People". Pointing that out was the intent of my statement in that post.

If one wants to get a feel for why the 2nd amendment language regarding firearms was crafted one must study carefully the social and government history of the time that spawned the concerns addressed in the 2nd amendment.
The Brits were confiscating firearms to assure their control over the resisting colonists who were seeking a free way of life without government (British) dictates and control. Etching THE RIGHT to possess a firearm in one's home was of paramount purpose so that the person possessing the firearm would be ARMED to join the "militia" to resist any offensive and/or oppressive regulation of the Free People of what was to be the United States (Colonies).
One of the goals in revising history is to be able to create a justification for New Policies to be dictated by the New Government under the pretense of being "better" for the citizens. Shouting down and neutralizing the voices of those expressing their beliefs that a contrary to the "accepted" philosophy and fabricated truths is a way of suppressing the mention of from where we came and how we have survived for over 200 years. They have to first disarm United States citizens.
Covid19 was a beginning to regulate the social and personal behavior ... restricting interaction among citizens reduces communication and thought sharing .... and .... effectively creates a "likeness" of all citizens by masking their faces and dictating their behavior to destroy independence.
The First Amendment is under attack as well with the Covid19 dictatorial "protocols" .... because we in this country have a right to peacefully assemble ... for any reason .... and in the last year the only persons who have that right to "assemble" are doing so with violence and property destruction facilitated by the governments regulating the police and our criminal justice system.
One should think a moment about a country solely run on electricity. During the recent freeze in Texas the electricity was regulated by the provider to accommodate the conditions in various parts of the metro area. The "utilities" were able to determine who got electricity and when by simply throwing a switch through computer manipulation. That not only regulates conditions, but also communication with one another and with "news" of events ongoing in the rest of the world. Our cell use is now being monitored and will be controlled .... under the pretense of Covid19 policies our personal associates are being monitored .... as long as we use an identifiable instrument. The newest cell/mobile units cannot remove the tracking ability. That better explains the "global warming bullshit"!
