Anybody got a picture of ANYBODY carrying an AR-15 inside the capital because I haven't seen it. Yes, you "might" ( maybe not ) have been beaten with a fire extinguisher, or a pole with a flag on it, but you were not going to be shot with an AR-15 unless I just missed that story.

"The reason we have a Second Amendment, is to protect the "1st Amendment".

THE surest way to start an armed revolution in this country, would be trying to confiscate guns.

You want to eliminate the problems with guns? Eliminate the people who use them illegally. Problem solved but you know what the result of that effort would bring, don't you.

If everyone would freely exercise the "1st" and allow others to do the same, the Second would lack so much urgent importance. And if the so-called liberals in this country would allow everyone to speak their minds without the push back against them, there would be no need for the so-called liberals to be so afraid of firearms.

We now have a wire barrier and armed military protecting them.

HR-127 is the reason why the Second Amendment included the phrase "Shall not be infringed".

I'm tired of the boat accident meme. If they want to come take my shit, they better send bachelors.

6. If you have 14 vpos you cannot get a gun anyway so what difference does it make if they ask you EX that so you already have the 14 vpos on you.
7. To bust of knowledge if want a mechine gun you need a license already.
8. What good is gun on display if had a gun it would be red hot.

80% of all illegal hand gun homicides are in Democratic urban cities with the toughest gun laws in the country. In 2020 769 children were shot and Biden never mentioned it once. When 4 year old LeGend Taliferro was shot to death President Trump and Bill Barr launched Operation LeGend and his mother came to the White House to endorse the effort to send federal agents to Kansas City Democratic mayor Quinton Lucas shut in down because of "Covid concerns"

You're probably right. Democratic run cities inadvertently alienate their citizens with strict provisions on Gun Rights and just about everything else and their violent crime rates are generally high. Maybe it's time for a new strategy. Instead of alienating citizens maybe empowering them would encourage more unity and respect for one another. Maybe officials should try encouraging Gun Ownership and training and educate citizens on the Law. Instead of shaming the law abiding gun owner how about shaming the criminal instead, ban them not the gun. Maybe then we'll see the change we seek.

fiden and the DPST/ccp regime are starting a 'War" on legal and law-abiding gun owners
Why - a disarmed populace is at the mercy of DPST marxist revolutionaries with weapons.

DPST motivation in a nutshell.

Not if I buy/sell a gun in a private sale to a guy in the Wal-Mart parking lot. That's the so-called "gunshow loophole" they're trying to close. Good luck enforcing that.

Also, the background check doesn't include the make/model/serial of the gun. That info is captured on your 4473 when you fill it out, but that information stays with the FFL that performed the check, it doesn't go to the FBI or the ATF.

>2.have to have training and have a ccw in most States or law enforcement can do over.
The number of states that allow CCW have been growing in the last 30 years, so has the number of states with "constitutional carry":

I agree there should be training, but disagree with a license, which is why I think gun safety and marksmanship should be taught in schools.

>3. There don't let crazy people get guns now I have nothing red in my hand.

They never have, but they again, just like the 2007 law that Trump rolled back, want to go too far with it.

Also, I've yet to see a red flag law that wasn't an unconstitutional "pre-crime" shenanigans like the movie Minority Report.

>4. Not sure how insurance bring people back but Oboma care still law if land.

I just don't like Obamacare because it exercises a tax on those who choose not to pay the corrupt insurance industry.

As for a "firearm insurance". I have USCCA. But the point of the USCCA membership isn't to pay out the person I shoot, it's to defend me if I shoot someone. That's not what the insurance HR 127 demands will do.

>5.have any felonies you cannot get it gone especially ones with drugs.

Which is unconstitutional. The only right you lose when becoming a felon is the right to vote, and that is actually outlined in the actual amendment it's written in (I think the 14th Amendment?).

>6. If you have 14 vpos you cannot get a gun anyway so what difference does it make if they ask you EX that so you already have the 14 vpos on you.

Yeah, but the rest of us with an angry ex who we did nothing wrong to, or an angry sibling w/ an agenda have something to worry about.

>7. To bust of knowledge if want a mechine gun you need a license already.

But I shouldn't.

>8. What good is gun on display if had a gun it would be red hot.

Should I also not be allowed to have my tv or my macbook out either? Those are red hot.

>9. There aread stiff laws if you violation gun laws like don't buy for the other guy.

That's a shitty attitude. "We already have laws, what's the harm in a few more" is the exact opposite of how one should run a country, but leftists don't understand that mentality, they have this weird fascination with controlling everything, especially other people.

There is no such thing as a 'License" to own a machine gun in America.

machine guns are regulated under NFA Acts of 1934 and 1986 - and require a $200 Tax Stamp to transfer possession.
Please keep One's facts Correct.

I assumed he was talking about being a class 2 or 3 SOT, which is a license. You're correct as well, OEB.

The very same gun in the hands of a responsible person with no intent to harm, is the very same gun in the hands of someone intending the harm. The solution isn't getting rid of the gun, it is getting rid of the irresponsible person but that would require mass incarceration and if you don't want to do that, I suggest you quit whining about solutions.

There is a long list of things worthy of paying taxes for and at the top of my list second to national defense, is to protect the average citizen from violent offenders. The more you remove from society, the more taxes I am willing to pay.

Imagine a day when Chicago reports no deaths on a typical 3 day holiday week-end.
