The article said he was found 30 hours after the blast. I'm not seeing where he was thrown 30 miles out into the Med. I do recall that someone during the Texas City blast was thrown a mile and survived. This person could have been thrown out to sea and the currents took him further out. Pure speculation.

I think it is very possible hazbollah engineered the confiscation of the ammonium nitrate from the ship in port - and stored it under unsafe conditions for future use.
