Excellent questions. Exit polls showed that about 50% of voters in certain states did not make up their minds as to whom to vote for until yesterday or 3 days before election day. Probably many who would have voted for Pete or Amy voted for Biden.

I doubt Bloomberg will go 3rd party. His oft-stated goal was to stop Trump and being a 3rd party candidate would defeat that purpose. It would probably guarantee a Trump victory in November.

Assuming Biden wins the nomination, who will he pick as a VP running mate? I have no clue. I doubt many Trump supporters thought Pence would be Trump's choice.

the dnc's internal machinations aren't exactly spread across the front page

but any organization that would stoop to having poised super delegates isn't going to let someone they don't want win without going to the mattresses

You can bet your last dollar Obama has his finger on the scale. He’s rebuilding a 2008 coalition for Biden and a united front to kick the squatter out of the Oval Office and it will be successful.
