I went to a private High School. It required tuition. I paid half of it, my parents paid the other half. I had a part time job and I was also an athlete. When I went to College I acquired a student loan which I ended up paying it off over a period of years. Everyone has a different situation. Mine is certainly different from yours.

Yes, situations certainly vary. I was more than happy to pay the tuition, room and board and miscellaneous expenses for my children while they were in school. I applaud you for doing what you did in order to succeed.
