I just read her Wikipedia entry. She's the daughter of an Indian cancer researcher and a Jamaican economist. They divorced when she was 7, after which she was raised by her Indian mother.

I was extremely impressed with the woman reading up through her time as a District Attorney. If we could accomplish throughout the country what she did in San Francisco, the nation would be much better off.

Then, when she was elected Attorney General of California in 2010, everything starts to fall apart, and accelerates when she's elected to the Senate. She becomes a corporation basher and class warrior, and she abandons some of her liberal ideals about criminal justice reform. She does not appear to be a good administrator.

I couldn't vote for her for president unless she moved way towards the center. I could bang her if she lost about 20 pounds.

oh I feel sorry for poor little Half Moon Landrieu of New Orleans who didn't do squat about the drainage system for the city flooding parts of it during rain storms due all the pumps were inoperable. He spent his time worrying about removing monuments to get his national approval ratings up among Democrats.
