It will not be like running off a hard drive but it runs off the CD pretty well. I believe you can also run it from a USB flash drive as well.

Yep, can be run off of a flash drive. As a side note, you can also run firefox web browser off a flash drive. Leaves nothing behind (like hobby websites) as long as you remember to keep your flash drive with you.......just a thought

It runs just as fast as any Windows system. The downside to using this method is that it doesn't save ANYTHING including favorites, links etc. So you have to always remember your links and login info.
The flashdrive is a good idea because you can actually save links, favorites encrypted password file etc. But you must always remember to secure it and the chip is very difficult to destroy since the data is on the flash chip which requires a hammer to destroy the data properly.

Sensei or any geeks out there -
do you know if using InPrivate internet explorer on Windows 7 will effectively avoid leaving any tracks?

Hey GTO...here's "winking" at you!
So, Brooke...how and where do the people in CAP get the information to go on these hunts? Also, wouldn't that be bordering stalking and infringing on our privacy? Unless someone is actually caught in an act of "P" who's to say that we may just be going to a hotel to meet a lover/boyfriend?
Can anyone shine some light on what our rights are...let's say if we spot a CAP idiot trying to take our picture, etc. and/or harrassing us?

Well, considering his services START at 1500 bucks, I am not sure how many people will actually pay for the services. I have seen that "Cheaters" has been back in town...so watch out for the detective "Gomez"...he can be seen hanging around the Riverwalk wearing a sombrero!!!

The Law Is a Two-Edged Sword

I really have no idea how they have access to databases that can provide them with all this info by the license plates but in this day and age you can find anything on the net.
|
First, about the info on the plates: It's called "Freedom of Information", people! Check out this pay-for-service website:
http://www.govdmvregistry.org/?gclid...FQ8eDQodHGVQlQ
I copied-and-pasted this from the website:
Is Your Driving Record Accurate? You can look up and investigate anyone online. Find out anything about anyone anonymously!
This is the down side to laws like the Freedom of Information Act. On one hand, this web site enables the public to access and correct inaccuracies in their records -- a good thing. On the other hand, it enables the public to snoop on each other -- a bad thing.
Second issue, the CAP's letter. I'd love to see how the letter was worded, and whether it could be construed in a court of law as an accusation. I'd also love to see what happens if and when the CAP inflicts damage upon a gentleman by accusing him of soliciting prostitution, when in fact the lady he was meeting was a sales rep, distributor, or someone similar. Can you say "lawsuit"? My point is -- the CAP is banking on their targets' being too embarrassed to fight back. However, the law can work against them as well as for them.

Exactly! They're "assuming" that a sex act occured...but, unless they have proof...it's just them being snoopy! And, even if they had a picture of a girl leaving...who's to say that was actually the girl he saw...they don't know how many people were actually in that room. What if they were having a church meeting...hey, it could have been anything...just sayin'! (lol)

Well, Nikki, since I read ammonite's review, I can tell you that there were three people in that room!

Yes there were three people involved, and, as Nikki has pointed out above, it was a religous experience of sorts lol.
