I was working nights. There was only a few of us working and we were all buddies. A friend of mine's wife showed up in nothing but a trench coat, walked into the shop, and flashed me. i'm sure this isn't fiction ... kudos for you for not screwing your buddy's wife. and ... i'm sure if i was in your position i would ditch them both before someone loses it and shows up with a weapon.

I don't recommend going that route (bartering). If your looks and services speak for themselves, stick to your protocol regarding compensation. You can hire Civilians who are certified & reliable to do your electrical, plumbing, etc. It's much safer and more professional.

Like I said in a previous comment, I personally am not looking at bartering anything, just a fun little convo to see if anyone had ever traded in the past and the crazy stories that came about. Although a friend and myself did pay for a cab ride once by flashing the guy in downtown lol

I've bartered services in the hobby with no problems at all. I've bartered for construction, daycare, and other types of services. Never any issues in other industries either.
