I have mixed emotions but I would like to see him succeed. The Angels should have been well aware of what they were getting. He has the disease of addiction. Sure, he gave it to himself but he has it now and there is no cure.
He will need special care and with that you can coax good baseball out of him.

Many of us (secretly / openly) are pulling for Josh to succeed in his return to Texas.
Question: Is it the Ranger fan in us that wants this? Or is it much more simple than that....that many / most of us identify with Josh and his demons?

His addiction, well documented, is cocaine; ours is the hobby (deny if you so wish....over the yrs I've seen many of you walk away only to come back again and again....) Point is, we all have that itch that we love having scratched on occasion and there just comes a time when you have to feed the monster.....

Anyways....not to make this about us; Josh is the topic at hand. Personally, I would like to see him do well.....for whatever known or unknown reason that is to me.

I am very curious to see how Josh will respond, both on and off the field.

When he gets in the lineup (which should not be hard to do with the players they currently have) and is introduced at his first plate appearance, I think he will be greeted with a small smattering of boos but mostly cheers. Society as a whole is very forgiving, willing to give second and more chances in many cases, welcoming people that are trying to be better, lets just hope that he has learned from this or at least hide his addiction better, while producing at a high level for Texas while LA is paying more than 80% of his salary.
