Since someone brought up Ruth Chris meal being expensive. If you from BR. The same person on Ruth Chris & TJ Ribs plus a couple more in the area. It's ALL the same food. He orders all his food & Steaks from same place. I actually dated one of his accountants at one time.

Why are people getting butt hurt over #5? Some providers ARE overpriced. If you're not one of them, what's the big deal? There's a provider that commented here who is OUTSTANDING so to me PERSONALLY anyone not performing at her level for the price she charges is pretty much overpriced. It's What you want + expectations from reviews/reputation
+/- actual performance right?
That list is good actually. I don't even consider it harsh criticism or anything to get upset about. I've actually run into #6 and #7 in the past 2 months. Decided to be nice and not even do a review. I would think #10 would have caused more fuss here!

I used to be in the restaurant industry. You're absolutely correct! Many places in town do this! You're paying for the AMBIANCE!

IMHO, people are getting butt hurt because their world view is such that EVERYTHING that happens is about them personally - nothing that happens or is said can NOT be somehow related to them in their tiny little world. The concepts of innocuous and / or unrelated don't exist for these people.

No comment can be made with which they disagree, without them mounting a full-on mission to not simply state their disagreement, but to discredit the person who has SOOOO deeply offended them (because the comment WAS in fact directed at them personally, you understand). These people also have a profound sense of entitlement, and believe themselves to be "special."

When called to task, these folks react by displaying their woundedness, hoping that the world will take sides with them against the awful person who has arbitrarily and unjustly wounded them. This reactivity is referred to as a "narcissistic wound."

The above briefly describes features of a Narcissistic Personality Disorder - does this kinda remind you of anyone?

That was a problem then & suddenly
they contradict their own beliefs by
engaging with a pimp/provider.

You posted two reviews - and neither one of them met ECCIE standards. You decorated the first one up with all those bizarro cartoon characters just like BackPage girls decorate their ads. The guys reading the review even called the review out as being a fake.

Top it off - one of your "perfect date" requirements is that a girl be able to hold an intelligent conversation. What about you being able to do likewise? Read your 50 some odd posts - you don't write too well so why do you think you can converse well?

EDIT: Name a provider here in the NOLA forums that can vouch that you are legit?

Ambiance, service and the way it's cooked. The same piece of meat is cooked much better there than it would be at Chili's.

Dave I have to agree with you there is choice, select and prime meats. The biggest distributor in the state does provide the meat to most but a place like Ruth, Mr Jhons, Crescent City steak house nolas etc only use prime meats and they also use different ovens, I think Chris's cooks their meats at 1600 degrees. their meats are also aged unlike places like TJ , Applebee's Chillis etc that use the cheaper cut of meats choice or select. I recommend Mr John on St. Charles.. Best cut of meat I've ever had.
