I get about 60 percent of my clients from here on ECCIE, then the remaining clients split between P411 and ERAPS. I find many of my clients are members on all 3 Boards. Also, get a few hits off of my web site, but they usually go from there to here on ECCIE to find out more info.

So, if a town had 100,000 people. It would mean 230 women were providers. Considering all levels from street-walkers, strip-clubs, internet providers and extreme UTR, that sounds pretty accurate.

Waco has about 125,000 people. Do you think you could find 288 providers in a town of Waco's size? (Note I didn't say Waco itself, due to certain factors more or less unique to that city that wouyld influence the answer.) I'm not trying to be argumentative; I'm just supplying a real-world example for your consideration.

Its 230 per 100000 women, not general population so assuming 50% women, its actualy 144, not 288. So yes, there could easly be that many in a town that size. And of course, its a national average, so who knows in aspecific twon.

The math doesn't sound right to me. 6.5 million in the census, 50% female doesn't mean that 50% is in the provider age group. Have to figure out how many of those 3.5M are between the age of 20 - 45 with a lot more weight on the 20 - 30 range. By the time you get through the adjustments that 7500 number is going to be cut in half at least and more likely cut by a factor of 4 or 5. I'll bet the real number is less than a thousand, tops.

Last time I counted there was almost 900 providers registered here on Eciie just in the DFW area. This board has been up for about 18 months or so? I figure 675 are still actively providing in one way or another.

Given that, I think there are about 10 times that many elsewhere to be found in DFW.

Don't get too anal on this. Its a very generalized average. So what if its off a a couple of hundred for an area the size of the metroplex. Its just a guide or estamate. I did not study the methodology of the study so I cannot comment on what it made allowances for.

The point, based on the orginal post, is that ECCIE is a very small part of the hobby
