ACL scope, full ACL repair, and two meniscus surgeries..all on the right knee. It's all about the rehab!

Get ur ass over here, LA Man! I'll give u a workout out of this world.

@DuckDog...Did u go full depth, below parallel, w/that 1RM of 1,000#?
That's rindonkulous, Homie!

I wanna see all u guys start squatting again. It's such an essential movement. Even if u start off light with proper form, you won't hurt pre-existing injuries *ILTG & BigP. Start back with the PVC pipe. Then work up from there.

Now, I need help with my Muscle-Up. Anyone wanna volunteer to help me get my ring Muscle-Up? It's so hard for women to do this movement on the rings. I need some extra help

Have a great day guys. Keep lifting. See yall in Nola tomo!

Yes full squat. I was very big back then. Could not find pants because of legs. I worked out all the time. I got 500 up on the bench one time.

LL have you found a way to mount a set of High Rings in your place? If so then I'm ready, willing, and able to help!!

I will be coming for workouts soon, separation soon so NSA will be full contact !

@Duckdog...That's way Bada$$! I know whatcha mean about the pant/jean situation. I just buy the ones with some stretch in them so I dont bust my seams. For a woman, I much prefer being functionally fit & tight as opposed to jiggly. I embrace my feminine athletic curves! I know u do too

@LA Man...A dear client/friend of mine surveyed the Den for gym rings. He said the ceiling foundation may not be secure enough for high rings/Muscle-Ups. I know that you are good with stuff like that. Maybe you could give me a 2nd opinion & possibly install some for me?
I confess that I'm quite an acrobat on the rings. It could be a lot of wild fun BCD

Sounds like a trip to the den is in order soon since my "services" are in need. Damn I like that idea. Supporting your weight should be no problem, some ideas you may come up with other than the intended use could be a whole different issue....

Is your living room ceiling higher than your bedroom? Of course the least thing on my mind when in the Den is building structures but watching a cute fitness model doing muscle ups made me think you would 12' or maybe 10' ceilings at least. PM me and let me know, sure we are boring the masses.....

Back in the late 80"s ACL's injuries were essentially a death sentence to a high level athlete. Science and technology just wasn't on our side then. Nowadays a D1 athlete tears his/her acl they are back competing in 6-8 months....

My back squat max (official deep lift) was 495 lbs when I was junior in high school. Soon after that lift started knee problems and after rehab my technique was gone. Didn't pursue 1 RMs after that but continued lifting another 15 years. These days no more weights but have started appreciating (even liking) running...

Mine ACL was in '91. Thats when repairing it with the patella was a brand new procedure

Ironically, I was a distance runner/college athlete, then developed knee issues. I switched to fitness and strength training/comps. and CrossFit. CrossFit has helped my pre existing college knee issues disappear. No more back pain.

When I was skiing competively I developed knee problems. Working with a trainer we found that the pain was from my Quads being tight and over stretched with my hams being shortened. Basically a opposite muscle imbalance. Two years of stretching and building my hamstrings to match the range of my quads.

She fixed the problem in two years after it took 5 different orthopedics until one figured out the problem and sent me to her!
