If it didn't involve any type of cannibalism I'd suggest selling soup made out of 'people' who like to steal sea turtle eggs.
It would be great if you could lay your hands on a gross of Sea Turtle stuffed toys to hand out for a donation to the cause.

How bout selling chocolate turtles? Love them little buggers!

Hmm. Guess we don't really wanna put the idea of eating them in anyone's head...guess your stuck with a car wash!

Teespring.com or booster.com. Come up with a clever t-shirt slogan and wreck that shit.

It will help you reach a wider audience. Have you spoken with the group that you are going with to see if they have ways for volunteers to help raise funds?
just be mindful that sites such as gofundme siphon off up to 5% of the funds raised. you need to shop around and find the one that charges you the least. my $0.02

good luck.

I think she just wants fundraising ideas. Kaylee, I hope you have a exciting but very safe trip.

She did not ask us to fund her trip. She asked for ideas of how to raise the funds. Its a great project and I commend her for wanting to give back to the planet.

I think the GoFundMe and sites like it is a great idea. They do charge for helping but many charities take far for than 5% for "overhead" Just read the fine print very carefully.

Good luck on your endeavor.

Yup midgetwrestler, you are correct on that. But I DO recall this thread is for fundraising ideas. I've been taught that if you don't ask or seek or work for what you want, you will never achieve your goals.

Money pays the bills, money puts food on the table and money saves wild life and I'm going to go for it. I'm following my passion and giving back to mother earth.

But if you have any fundraising ideas, I would love to hear them. ;-)
