Educate yourself on impoundment and expect a lot of lawsuits. Come back ready to show me that superior intellect

Off topic. And wrong.

Migrant crime only happens because the Government is irresponsibly derelict in carrying out its duty of securing our borders and properly vetting all those we admit into our country.

It doesn't have to happen. And it shouldn't.

Perhaps you want to tell the mothers of Laken Riley, Rachel Morin and Jocelyn Nungaray that you're ok with keeping the borders wide open - knowing this means what happened to them will happen to untold other American families in the future?

Say their names, tommy!

I can instantly tell you're at a beginner level regarding what's included in the vetting process, Lusty.

Migrant crime occurs even with extensive vetting. Just like murders occur even though there are laws against murder.

That's a talking points shitpost and not a serious argument.

Immigrants, both legal and illegal, commit less crimes on average than American Citizens.

It doesn't take a genius to realize that if you're in a foreign country, illegally, or even legally and are there working legally or are in pursuit of your citizenship, that you shouldn't do illegal things that will risk your status in the country.

Americans do more crime than immigrants. However, immigrants are demonized because they are the 'other people' that the vast majority believe they shouldn't be here, because they are the people who do all the crimes that the average joe is aware of.

Agreed that the feds, under all administrations, could do a better job with handling migrants. But, they are coming here for a reason. Because their home countries are being ruined by crime... the crime that America is enabling.

At the end of the day the 'crisis on the boarder' is being caused by the government, who claims that the government isn't doing anything to stop it, because the government keeps getting its hand chopped off whenever they try to pass a boarder bill, because it will help and make the government look better.

Or rather, you've spent all your money on hookers and smoke, and are upset that you don't have any money, so instead of blaming yourself for spending all your money on hookers and smoke, you blame the hookers and smoke shop for letting you spend all your money there, while you apply for a payday loan so you can buy more hookers and smoke.

Right, Gristle.

Try telling the mothers of Laken, Rachel and Jocelyn that it's just a bogus "talking points shitpost" to say their killers - several came here under the Biden/Mayorkas "parole" program which you still can't explain or defend - were not properly vetted.

I can instantly tell you're at a beginner level regarding empathy. And clarity of thought. And forthrightness.

The one thing you excel at is condescension.

In other words, you don't know. It's ok to say that instead of posturing and pretending otherwise. Don't be so chickenshit.

I know enough about impoundment to say legislation would be preferable. Are there other avenues? If you don't know, just say so.

The empathy isn't for you, Lusty. It's for their families. No one here is owed a drop of it.

That said, the vetting varies by how they were admitted and what they did or didn't apply for. And this may shock you, but people do have clean records before they come here and commit crimes. Kinda like our homegrown criminals.

Alas, this isn't the thread for that discussion.

Plenty of options as far as legislation, if Congress had that appetite. The current Congress does not. Other changes would need to be properly proposed and then documented in the Federal Register. And then all would need to survive any relevant court challenges.

For now, you have impoundment unless you have hooks in a valid 287(g) MOA, which most don't and aren't applicable to Chicago.

And frankly, you're taking this all super off topic

Partly why we're conflating interior enforcement with border security so often here. You can see very quickly who knows what based on that conflated talking point alone.
Indeed it is.

"Missing White Woman Syndrome"?

Good grief! Try again, Gristle.

(Staff edit)

Funny how dimotards always pretend to be soooo compassionate and empathetic, but when it comes to the tragic human costs of the Biden/Harris open-border policies, all they do is downplay and dismiss the unbearable pain those policies (Staff edit)

Hypocrisy of the highest order!!

Say her name, Gristle. Say her name, tommy.

(Staff edit)

But for the deliberate Biden/Harris open-border catastrophe

I applaud you for being the first person and only person to being up her name in this forum

I've refrained because (Staff edit)

Fucking shame, though, that you only brought her up to try to call others hypocrites, when you focused on "Missing White Woman Syndrome" and omitted "kissing cousin of" to try to warp a point by using snippets divorced of context.

Very sad. She's not a tool to advance your political football. You're better than that. Do better and let's remember this thread is about the intersection of deportations and U.S. citizenship and let's get back on topic.

What are your thoughts on Homan's lack of a solid written plan and Miller's push for denaturalization and potential plans to strip birthright citizenship from our constitution?

What "political football"? The only agenda I want to advance is secure borders, which should be a common sense priority of BOTH of our two major political parties.

What's sad and tragic is how dimotards abandoned it years ago and stupidly embraced unsecure, open borders!

Have you ever pondered why so many of the victims of migrant crime have become so outspoken and allowed their stories to be spotlighted, told and retold by the GOP? It's not because they are partisan or political. Most of them don't give a fuck about politics. But they DO care about working to make sure what happened to them doesn't keep happening to other American families.

If Republicans were ever stupid enough to throw open the borders like Biden and Harris have done, I would come down on them like a ton of bricks too!
