What is happening right now is: Texans are helping Texans, like Texans helped the evacuees from Louisiana, and the Texas Governor, who coincidentally happens to be a Republican, is exercising the budgetary and legislative authority given to the office by the Republican dominated state legislature and the Democratic mayors of Houston and San Antonio are encouraging citizens to assist in the community effort, which they were doing before they had to be asked.

There is little reporting of "hands out" AND minimal reporting of whiners with their hands out .... except those ignorant carpet baggers who want to blame Trump for an "Act of God"!

Trump has responded as he should, and that includes coming to the area today to show his concern and support for EVERYONE involved in this effort.
