Your absolutely correct violence is not necessary and there is no excuse, however peaceful protest is part of American culture and what makes us great! I think the anger occurred because of the knowledge that the election was probably won by Trump because of the Russian influence and the Comey letter to congress only days before the election. Hillary won the election by almost 3 million more votes if not for the electoral college. Never has a president taken office when beaten so badly in the popular vote. Plus the thought that Trump may be in bed with Russia the whole time is bound to lead to unrest!

The 2016 election was the most recent when the candidate who received the greatest number of electoral votes, and thus won the presidency, didn’t win the popular vote. But this scenario has played out in our nation’s history before.
In 1824, John Quincy Adams was elected president despite not winning either the popular vote or the electoral vote. Andrew Jackson was the winner in both categories. Jackson received 38,000 more popular votes than Adams, and beat him in the electoral vote 99 to 84. Despite his victories, Jackson didn’t reach the majority 131 votes needed in the Electoral College to be declared president. In fact, neither candidate did. The decision went to the House of Representatives, which voted Adams into the White House.
In 1876, Rutherford B. Hayes won the election (by a margin of one electoral vote), but he lost the popular vote by more than 250,000 ballots to Samuel J. Tilden.
In 1888, Benjamin Harrison received 233 electoral votes to Grover Cleveland’s 168, winning the presidency. But Harrison lost the popular vote by more than 90,000 votes.
In 2000, George W. Bush was declared the winner of the general election and became the 43rd president, but he didn’t win the popular vote either. Al Gore holds that distinction, garnering about 540,000 more votes than Bush. However, Bush won the electoral vote, 271 to 266.
In 2016, Donald Trump won the electoral vote by 304 to 227 over Hillary Clinton, but Trump lost the popular vote. Clinton received nearly 2.9 million more votes than Trump, according to an analysis by the Associated Press of the certified results in all 50 states and Washington,

This right here is all reason more why I choose to not support one party. Neither parties are right in their actions. They all tell you what you want to hear.

That's correct canuckeight thanks for verifying my point. Trump actually lost by almost 3 million votes when actual votes are counted. It was a huge defeat for Trump and the reason why he had a hard time accepting it. With that many people voting against him but he still takes office it is easy to understand the unpopularity and protest.

It may have occurred. That is no reason for what was done. I don't think you are getting that.

Does Trump Need Mental Health Help?
Trump seems to have a problem separating truth from fiction, he is known to make things up, lie and then believe his own lies! This is not a democrat or republican issue, this concern has been shared by democrats and republicans who are close to him! The proof is in the lies he had told to the American people, here is a long list of lies he has told in just a very short time! If you love your country read this and be concerned!

The Affordable Care Act was a great achievement, people complain because premiums went up, they did but slower than they had at any time previous. The blame needs to be placed properly on the insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies. OBama took some power away from the insurance companies and republicans want to give it back to them! If they are successful for most people premiums would increase further or they may be denied coverage because of pre existing conditions ! Keep in mind we are talking very common pre existing conditions such as blood pressure or diabetes or any chronic ailment! Insurance companies if they can have their way want to collect premiums and insure only perfectly healthy people. They can make more profit this way! If you do develop a condition while insured they can target you for premium increases to force you out of coverage then deny you from getting it again! The sad reality is that Obamacare helped us all and gave us protections we never had before, republicans who are in the pocket of the insurance companies want to take them away!

Your asinine statement is rent asunder by the stupid ass notion commonly espoused by lib-retards such as yourself, Stan-the-Stupid. Your ilk has forever propagandized that Republicans vote against their own self-interest, Stan-the-Stupid.

You're an ignorant and illiterate lib-retard, Stan-the-Stupid. The Morrill Land-Grant Colleges Acts of 1862 was passed and enacted by a Republican Congress and President, Stan-the-Stupid. "By 1870 [under a Republican administration and Congress], every state had free elementary school" (Wiki). The greatest gains in affording public education to all was achieved by 1910: under Republican administrations, Stan-the-Stupid.

All three million of those surfeit votes were from one state, Stan-the-Stupid: California. The U.S. Constitution was written to insure that one state doesn't have sovereign sway over the majority of the remaining states, Stan-the-Stupid.

Odumbo and hildebeest lied everyday for eight years, Stan-the-Stupid. Your ilk lacks any morale credibility in that arena, Stan-the-Stupid.

Hank if I thought you had any credibility at all or ability to comprehend, I would debate with you but when it's obvious your kind of a nutbag, I will save my breath for others, every deplorable can't be saved.
