It is a clash between Shia and Sunnis and it is a sectarian war .... a Civil War in the Muslim world if you will. To say it is nation upon nation shows a lack of understanding of what is really going on.

How long do you think China's navy would last in a war against us? Saudi Arabia has 10 times the defensive capabilities as Iran's offensive capabilities. If Iran attacked the Saudis there might not be anything left for us to destroy when we got there. Israel wouldn't want anything to do with this.

The Saudis have been bombing and fighting in Yemen for the past 9 months. From what I hear, it's not going well for them. As I mentioned (and your learning disability overlooked) China has only to defend a small area. Their entire country becomes an aircraft carrier and those new islands become aircraft carriers. How do you sink an island Munchkin? We on the other hand have to put some very valuable equipment half way around the world to project power while at the same time projecting power in the Persian Gulf and Med.

You know, it's times like this that make me believe that Munchkin has never seen the inside of any military base (except for his super secret, crack suicide unit)
