Hidden Cameras???

Anyone ever given this much thought? Guys (incall)? Gals (outcall)?

As small, portable, and affordable as the technology is getting these days I got to think it is pretty easy to set up, even in a hotel.

I always quickly walk the suite to make sure we are alone but really never gave much thought to cameras used to record BCD time. I wonder if somebody has a video of me in action?

As far as security cameras in public areas (lobbys, parking lot/garage) I know I'm on tape and don't worry too much about it & just view it as a small but inherent risk on takes.

Since day 1 of indy providing I have always used a detector to scan the room for possible cameras! The detector is about $70-$90 .. totally worth it to me! Yeah I may be overreacting a little but for me it's better to be safe than to have a video of you on porntube.com!

Now I don't do this with everyone .. just suspect looking people!

Um you can "walk" the suite a million times and not be able to detect those things.

Read too fast.. oops! There are ways to find it though if you're really worried about being recorded.

There are devices out there, I recall seeing a Wireless Camera Detector that you could fit on your key chain.

i know for a fact that there are people out there who secretely tape providers without their consent. The cameras are very small. I usually don`t do outcalls for that and other reasons. It is quite unfortunate - that i do have to say - sorry gents - that the lack of respect for a providers privatesphere is very not at the same level as the respect for other people`s privatesphere. That shows that providers are treated as second class citizens on a very real daily base. Because said people who secretely tape providers during their business ( i once knew someone who did that) are very outraged if you then go ahead and warn others of their doing or even talk about it with someone. How dare i to breach the confidence . Well, haha.... Its a very very double standard.

Wow, I'm sorry but she deserved to get busted. Unless the sole purpose of the cameras she had was to blackmail her clients, she should have checked things out on her video feed before offering her services and accepting any payment.

Then again, she failed majorly in the screening department, and all but put the cuffs on herself by explicitly offering sex in exchange for money, but she still could have avoided getting arrested by checking her monitors before doing anything illegal.

I feel bad for the guys she's now incriminated... all the more reason to select women with an ounce or two of professionalism.

I don't do outcalls and the last thing I want is a video of some married man paying me to go away after lmao. There is someone that I think is doing this now, and ladies are too desperate for money in his area to care I suppose.

He DEMANDS incall to his home only....not a hotel, not her incall, but only his personal home. Something is quite off about that especially when he always used the "I don't want to get out and drive" excuse. A week later he tells a friend of mine he would actually go get her at her hotel, bring her all the way to his house, and bring her back after...wtf really.

All you have to do is get someone you know to do a sweep. I had a bit of a situation before this past election and a friend of mine thought it would be a good idea to check this out for me....all clean.

This is more reason why it's good to have a camera detector. I do outcalls and use my camera detector when someone seems suspect. They're as low as $30 and go as high as $200. It's a great investment!

The last thing I'm worried about is some recording me.. I can handle that situation. I'm more afraid of being cut up into pieces by some nutjob than I am of being recorded OR LE!

So does the detector device pick up audio recordin devices as well? I think this would be awesome for providers to protect themselves from undercover police who are trying to record her dialogue. In addition, what about a cheap scanner for weapons? Maybe that might seem weird if guy showed up and the lady says "wait, gotta scan ya for weapons". I chuckle a bit at this, but it would seem like a valid concern. But a lady could make it a fun scan! LOL

I agree with most ladies above^....That's one reason I do not do outcalls..the only time I do outcalls is with a client whom I've seen a lot, and trust.
