Default Allergies suck

Okay, I'm on every allergy medication known to man and I'm still suffering. but I think I might have a plan. This sunday I am going to drive to the hill country and burn down every fucking mountain cedar tree I can find, who's with me?!

I'll be with you in SPIRT Ozzie! I'm cursed with cedar fever too...it's awful! They say this year is about the worst they've seen in years. If you hit the trees they look like they're covered in baby powder...it's really bad this year.

Have you tried Claritin D? It's the ONLY one that works for me.

Consider that a blessing. Steroids sometimes do more harm than good.

I am plagued 24/7 with allergies!!

I alternate difft types of medicine....sometimes it works/sometimes it doesn't

I like to create a steam bath to help unclog my sinuses so i can sleep at nite

I'm downing Clariten D like they're M&M's, but with the pollen count so high, it can only do so much. I finally figured out why it's so bad when i'm home though. There are at least 9 mountain cedar trees in on the property behind my house. those fuckers are going down as soon as I can afford to gas up the chainsaw!

Good-luck Ozzie...I'd invest in a good gas mask and take a long shower afterwards! I've been watching the news and those trees are FULL of pollen!

NOTHING works for me. I am DYING over here...my whole face hurts, then it goes way (at least I can sleep) and then it comes back and by the time I get home from work I am miserable. I HATE mountain cedar.

Sorry to hear everyone is suffering so bad. I have been a lifelong allergy sufferer so I know a little bit about what REALLY helps...If you have a Doc, ask for a shot of Kenalog it's a steroid but I get it every year and helps alot. Also, if you have insureance or dont mind paying a bit the best prescription I've ever gotten was for Lodrane...it's non-drawsy and really drys you up in no time..only last 4-6 hrs but it's good stuff...but again a bit expensive. Really though when the counts get to 20,000-40,000+ not much can be done but the above will lesson the severity, at least for me. Remember on the Claritin, you only getting small doses over a long period so for me it's only good for minor symptoms...but hey good news is we are peaking now and will be over in about a month....
