Or somewhere equally inopportune. Usually while I'm taking a shower.

Now, this gave me a chuckle. "Rage, rage against the dying of the light." And here's a thought...let's continue to...talk.

Go to a phone booth and you'll get the gist of a land line.

Sorry that's AT&T Wireless (or T-mobile).

I don't think that's correct. There isn't a Wal-Mart near the Daily Planet. WM is attempting to put a store near the Planet, but so far, no luck. Guess he'll just have to go into a corner of the alleyway.

You take your calls at a phone booth?

Now, I could be wrong but I've not seen that particularly practice on the list of "what makes an HDH?"

XOXO
THT

I have turned to sending christmas comments more so then cards these days! Sure they don't last thru the years like the old fashion kind, but still it's more about the thought!

I did send snail mail cards to family tho!

In this crazy, instant-tech-gratification culture, being misunderstood is a strong indicator that one is actually intelligent, using said talent, and unafraid of populist opinion. ALL admirable traits in my book. But then, I haven't had anything published in years, sooooo.....

As to Christmas Cards, I sent about 120 or so each year until my divorce, then the ex got "custody" of the list and spread some , uh, "misinformation", so now I simply call those truly close to me and let the rest slide. Wish I still could do it, though, as it really was a part of giving to others for me, letting people know at least once a year that their friendship was worthy of acknowledgement signified by time spent to do a manual task.
