I read the shack a while back, wonderful read. One of those books that when you are finished with it you are still pondering the complete meaning weeks later... I would put it in my top 5 books.

While I didn't read it quite that quickly lol. Wow is an understatement. I was given "The Shack" and recently finished reading it.........this deeply flawed man hasn't been moved by anything, like this in a long long time.

I've read all three books. They are amazing. I found them when I was about 17 and it opened up a WHOLE NEW WORLD! While I'm still not super into deep bdsm there are definitely some great descriptions in those books.

you are so right Cobra I was up all night and morning thinking bout the book and how even though it is fiction it seemed like a True story. Which then made me think did the guy who wrote it have a dream and in his dream he was told by God to write this book. Could this really be a true story, I felt like I was standing next to the them whole time.

Anything by Christopher Moore. Several people have brought him up already. Listen to them. He's thought provoking and laugh out loud funny.

Queen, I thought I was the only one that read The Alchemist. Did you know the Nelson has a portrait of the king that locked him up?

Pat Conroy. The Prince of Tides, Beach Music, My Losing Season, The Great Santini. I just started South of Broad. All of his books are terrific and will leave you thinking about them long after you are finished.
