Well, based upon enough experience to make my comment worthy not to be blown off immediately, I'd say there's no simple answer. Age is a category like race or even gender--you can make some reasonable, tentative generalizations about it but it tells you NOTHING about the next person you meet. That's because individual variations far outweigh group characteristics.

Certainly, as a group people in their 40s have had more life experience than those in their 20s. But some folks lead sheltered lives while others pack extraordinary among of experience into fairly brief periods. If we're discussing maturity (begging the issue of what exactly that means) I've been with a few providers in their 20s who struck me as far more mature in their outlook on things than some I've met in their 40s.

But if the subtext of the original question was, 'Can a woman in her 40s (or 50s) succeed in pleasing men in this game?' the answer in my experience is "You bet." In fact, and disproportionate number of my favorite sessions and my ATF providers are north of 40. This has prompted me to ask myself now about the ages of the women who are my current favorites, and I have one who I guess is in her mid-to-late 20s, one in her late 30s, and one well into her 40s. That's just me of course.

I look at age only to the extent of avoiding really young providers, because the age difference (I'm late 50s) makes me uncomfortable. But, again, that's just me.

I agree a little with you Camille. What I was trying to say is that on average(that's kinda how we base our opinions) the 40 year old is a better total provider. When you find a young pretty provider that has a great attitude and is a good provider then that's in my opinion the exception.

I agree that age does factor in sometimes. When I was 21, I met and moved in with a 34 year old man. We probably met in the middle and had an age of about 28 equally..in attitude. That said, he admitted that he had not approached me for a date for months (we knew each other quite well) because I was so young. He wasn't sure he wanted to be with someone who had only been about of school for 4 years...hahahaha. Anyway, he took the plunge and we were together for 3 years or so...so age can be an consideration and if you let it an obstacle. Sometimes attitude alone just enough and I think that seems to occur more if there is a significant age gap or if the woman very young...
