Once, after verification, I tried to ask questions about a provider's service, not necessarily greek, because she has two tiers of service listed. She kept referring me to her reviews, but the reviews make no mention about which of the two levels. Anyway, I just decided on the lower level of service. Then, she ended up standing me up.
So, it seems to me that some providers will not talk about their service no matter what or when. I think that they want to keep it vague so that they can decide during the appt. whether to do it or not.

Thank you, China; GFE used to mean exactly what I said; it's only been in the past few years that somebody decided it needed a "definition". Under that notion the most rude, mechanical, clock-watcher could truthfully describe herself as a "true GFE" simply because she follows an arbitrary list, and that totally invalidates the concept.

Sorry Angel.
I disagree. After her first review of your hypothetical provider above, no one here on eccie would consider her GFE if she was rude, mechanical, or a clock watcher.
In this part of the country, most guys consider dfk, daty, and bbbj as "entry level" to advertise GFE.
The reason we are here on eccie is to read reviews that give us a feel for a ladies attitude.
Whether she attempts to connect with the majority of her clients, and, most importantly, her ability to provide the "illusion of passion" that we all seek, is the overriding factor in our final decisions we make.
But in this part of the country, if the above does not include dfk, bbbj, and daty, you you will not be considered gfe.
I still might sign up for the "China Doll" experience (if she ever makes it down here), because she makes it clear what her exceptions are.

I do all that stuff, but that isn't the point; the point is that no list can define an "experience". If China Doll's clients say she's a GFE then she is, no matter how many or how few list items she happens to provide.
So far, that poll is looking like a reasonable percentage of providers agree with me and a large percentage of clients agree with you, which isn't surprising since defining something by a feeling is very "Venus" and defining it by a checklist is very "Mars". It may be that y'all are going to have to come up with a new term like "GFL" (Girl Friend List) to avoid confusion.

We could tackle this discussion in many ways, but it really does seem like there is the client side and the provider side to this.
Mojo, I appreciate your acknowledgement of the fact that I make it clear what my exceptions are. One thing I take issue with is the assertion that I am scamming everyone by claiming that I provide a GFE, when I make it clear exactly what I will and will not do. So, thank you.
Angel and I definitely agree on this issue, but that doesn't make us right. Nor would a unanimous vote for the other opinion make anyone right. This definition is clearly not set in stone. GFE means something different to everyone. I think that the women are more inclined to side with us partially because it is difficult for us to think that we are reduced to a list of menu items in the minds of our clients.
Also, just to add more fuel to the fire (not really), I would like to add that some people refer to the GFE with CBJ as a "Safe GFE." I'm fine with being viewed as a smaller category of GFE, if I must be placed into a category at all.

Yes, that's it. I actually can be defined as a GFE either way, but I prefer thinking it's due to the experience I provide rather than some arbitrary list. And if GFE is defined by a list, what's to stop that list from inflating? They can't even agree on what's on it now!

Not really. Provider wise rhe vote for service and attitude has the same amount of women as the ladies who feel its more attitude based strickly. The word is still out I guess.

I really don't think the list is very arbitrary. A "girl friend experience" is the kind of experience you would expect from...say, a girl friend. Imagine that.
Throughout my life, my girl friends have engaged in BBBJ, DATY, LFK, DFK, Greek, TUMA, and BBFS. Now, with the exception of BBFS (and possibly TUMA), I expect GFE to include all those items my girl friends have offered throughout my life. For everyone's safety, I exclude BBFS, and I recognize that most ladies don't TUMA. But lady who offers GFE should hit the BCD activities I have with a girl friend w/o the exceptions mentioned above.
And BTW, if a cure if found for all STDs/HIV/AIDs, I would expect the list to inflate. But not before then...

The sarcasm in your first comment above mocks your own definition of what should serve as a gfe.
I find your definition to be completely arbitrary, in spite of your claim otherwise.

If someone asks me for greek before we have even met I decline to see them because they are looking for a particular type of experience that I do not provide to someone unless I have been fucking them for a while and am reasonably sure they will not hurt me.
I would not want to provide what someone would consider "substandard" service because they are all about the ass.

I really didn't expect this thread to devolve into discussion about the definition of GFE. All I wanted was to find a way to inquire whether or not a provider offered Greek. Oh well. Since the thread has devolved, let me throw this out there.
I think it is very hard to define GFE. The gals think GFE is more about attitude, atmosphere and connection while being based less on menu items of services offered. Guys, on the other hand, expect some ill-defined set of service requirements to be the priority while the atmosphere and attitude take a back seat. The truth is somewhere in the middle and most correctly defined as in the eye of the beholder. From what I can gather, the crux of contention surrounds oral sex. Some providers feel that a CBJ is sufficient enough to consider themselves to be GFE, and they advertise GFE even when they state upfront CBJ only. I kinda like China Doll's solution--"safe" GFE. I think that if a provider clearly indicates she is CBJ only while advertising as a GFE, then clients have been forewarned and should not complain that the provider is not GFE. They knew going in that BBBJ was not on the menu. If it is that important then don't see a CBJ only provider. On the other hand, I do believe DATY is required for a provider to consider herself GFE. No DATY, No GFE. Finally would someone please explain TUMA? I've never come across that acronym before.

i would have to say that i dont like a guy to flat out ask for it because it does ruin the "not knowing what is going to happen" factor. I like to find out the size of the ship i will be riding on and how gently it is manuevered and how well the chemistry is. if it is the type of ride i like, then i like to take that person by surprise and take hold of the reign myself, so to speak. im not say i dont love it (which i do) i just dont like it to be something that is expected...

Being a guy from Upstate NY I still do not understand this attitude. No one, and I mean no one, who had the opportunity to meet China Doll, ever voiced a complaint about her not being the definition of GFE. It was always the people who refused to see her often due to that one restriction.
Folks, in my opinion, what turns a good provider into one of the truly great providers, is attitude. China is easily the best provider I have ever seen in twenty years of lobbying. Anyone who would turn away from intelligence, passion, beauty and most important to me at least, a fantastic attitude, due to 0.022" of latex needs their head examined.
To those complaining that GFE should be exactly what they would get from a "real" girlfriend are forgetting that "real" GFE would include the provider using your razor to shave her legs, having PMS and cramping every forth appointment, making you go out to dinner with her parents, stealing all the covers so you freeze all night and making you sell your sports car because her hair gets all messed up in it. The GFE you get from the provider is so great because you are *NOT* dealing with these things.
To those who think I am white knighting China Doll here I can just say that I don't have a dog in this fight any longer, but to those like Charles who would pass on the opportunity to see her or any other fantastic provider because of a single limitation I just think they are missing out on some of the best experiences in the business.
Ladies, limitations don't bother me, stick to your guns. It is part of what makes a hobbiest respect you as a person. And to those who won't go see a lady because they won't TUMA (christ I had to look that one up...) then I am afraid you may have gotten your idea of how women should be treated by watching too much gonzo porn.
