This phrase has become a bastardized marketing line for ladies looking to make themselves look better. It's like saying, "I'm a well read and well versed courtesan with a lot of class looking for the upscale gentleman".

Personally, this is why you'll NEVER see me use the term "courtesan" even though I'm the personification of one. The overuse of the word as resulted in the loss of its meaning.
