Garlic fries - YUMMY - best I ever had: Seattle, Safeco Field . . . no contest, hands down perhaps the best ballpark food EVER, IMHO.

Here's a recipe for you naughtytaters!

Texas Tom's Buckaroo Basket . . . now that brings back some memories. Are there any still around (in a neighborhood you don't feel like you need to have extra life insurance to visit)?

Hey Ms Jackie,

There used to be a TT on 40 hi-way not far from my house...but no more! I loved those fried burritos they had. And thanks so much for the garlic fries recipe Sugar Bear! I can't wait! :-)

Okay . . had the "Kelly" (new pic) today from Grandstand's wanted to try it before leaving town . . . Finally, Swarmyone and I have found common ground.

OH.

MY.

GOD.

COG, I can now understand how it could be "whacking material", I could rub one out right now just thinking about it.

VERY different from anything else I've had in town, but I am no longer suspicious of the claim that their burger is as good as a Blanc. Grandstand's is VERY good and although not a true apples to apples comparison with Blanc, the TASTE of the Kelly is overwhelmingly "bacon-cheeseburger heaven" and something that even Blanc could not duplicate - it is possibly my new standard to compare a great bacon cheeseburger against, it was that freaking good.

Check 'em out folks - Grandstand's is exactly as Swarmy said, "oh so good grub".

Amazing. I think the effects of my fullness have finally subsided. Indeed a delicious, fresh made burger that does not disappoint and may have set a new high mark in its "weight class".

Kisses,

- Jackie

I guess nothing brings two people together quite like bacon, cheese, and a half pound o beef. Perhaps Jackie and I should bury the hatchet and toast o rings and crinkle cut fries.

I can think of something I'd rather bury with Jackie, but Grandstands is now on my "must see" list!

I don't know how this will will rate, but the Burger Joint on Merriam lane just north of I-635. Small place with great burgers. Fries kind of suck, but the burgers are great at a good price.

There is one just to the north of 85th and Blue Ridge right before 87th, and still the one on Blue Parkway east of the Plaza. If I happen to be driving by and its anywhere near lunch, I have to stop and get those damn crispy burrito's. My friends who are firefighters and do health inspection tell me I'm out of my mind. They won't even touch a napkin out of there let alone anything edible.

I'm a big fan of muff burgers & lunchs in westport LOL.....If I remember right there was a jack in the Box at 43th & main. Funny how times change, I see Dunkin Donuts is back in town with a space on Metcalf, love their coffee....So many goog burger places. I think Five Guys is my favorite right now, their fries are fresh with the skins left on. you can get a good burger at any one of these....Cazr Bar, with cheese fries, Coach's, ask for gravy with your fries, The Blue Moose, Sharpes, One 80,the belgium fries are great. Though Brgr is just so so they do have Iron City Beer, a big plus LOL.
