Providers: does your family know what you do?

my kids know & have for the last 5 years...they think it's cool but do worry about my safety...I am glad they know because it gives me "someone" to vent to and discuss issues with

my brother in law knows but says no big deal

my other family does not know....they would "try to cast the demons outta me" if they found out!!!{lol}

Yes I hide some cash for them in a certain place..in case they ever have to "rescue me"....

For me my boyfriend knows. We pretty much have the understanding that I did it before I met you so I am not changing now. My younger sister knows and she hates what I do. But I really don't care. She hasn't had a job in 2 years and she lives with our grandparents. Me on the other hand I just purchased a new house. My other siblings still think that I still work in corporate america. I had a good paying job before I started to provide so my income still looks the same. They are all pretty used to me caring two phones and leaving the room when my "work phone" rings.

I am thinking about telling my best friend over thanksgiving but I am not sure how its going to go... but for now I will just let my bf, sister, and really close guy friends know(they think its awesome).

Absolutely not!!! My family is an old southern church going family. I can't even put into words what would happen if they found out. My mother would be heartbroken and my father would feel like a failure. Thankfully I do have a girlfriend (who I didn't know was a provider...lol) I can talk to if I need to vent and I can let her know where I am for safety reasons. I will never tell any of my friends because it's too juicy for any of them to be able to keep their mouths shut. Plus I kind of dig having everyone think I'm still the sweet, innocent one. If it gets to be too much to handle I'll just start telling people I moonlight as a Domme...which I plan to do eventually anyway

Nobody knows. People assume that I'm still living off the life insurance payment from my husband's death.

It was not nearly as large as people assume it was, but I was able to keep the kids in our old house for a year following his death, and then moved to a smaller house in the same neighborhood so things have been fairly stable.

Almost everyone I'm close to, with the exception of my mother, who worries about everyone and everything, knows what I do. She lives in another state and is not privy to my every day life, so I don't necessarily feel obligated to just "throw it out there" for her to ponder unnecessarily. I believe if she came right out and asked, then I would be honest, but at this point she believes I do some rather creative, but legal things to make my money. As long as it's not an issue and I feel comfortable she will never peruse the internet in search of my escapades, then I don't feel the need to upset her quiet life.

My children know and while they would much rather I go back to work in the corporate world, they understand why I choose not to at this time. Of course, mine are grown, but if they were still minors, I don't feel it would have been appropriate to discuss with them under any circumstances and they wouldn't know.

Being open about healthy sexuality is a part of who I am, as well as, what I do. Not that I discuss my actual escapades in any form or fashion with others, but rather in a general sense of this is what I do and why I do it. The actual experiences belong to me and whomever I choose to have an experience with.

noone in my fam knows and definately would not want my child aware. a select few friends are aware but partly bc they accidently figured some details out and were trustworthy enough to be explained to about the rest. some people are just too judgemental, even tho everyone's doing it in some form or fashion! it doesnt look good on your resume even if youre highly trained and experienced. lol
