I'm a huge fan of anything artistic. I dabble in a little art. My father was a photographer as well as an artist. My sister got her degree in art, but went on to pursue something completely different. I also DVR almost every new episode of LA Ink just to see the artwork. That being said, have you ever seen how shitty a tattoo looks after about twenty years? There will be a huge industry for tattoo removal in a few years.

But I'm still waiting for my suicide girl.

Yeah she is still around. Just posted an ad on BP a week or so ago. I never understood why the hell she put Houston on her sexy body like that.

I had one idea for a tat, but being nearly 30 and not where I want to be in life it'll probably not happen this go round. I don't even know the symbols and things that make up said tat. I do know it would of went up and down my left forearm and possibly my hand.
I have an associate who has like waves or flames on both forearms. Really like that area. I don't see my torso or legs as viable spots. Sure it's hidden, but I wouldn't want it if I had to hide it.

I recall the same question being raised before. She isn't showing it off in this ad.

As much as I dislike tattoos, small ones that can be covered up are cool. Any type of tattoo on your neck and face is stupid. I've heard it hurts like a muthafucka getting it removed. Folks don't be thinking ahead.

Personally- no identifying tattoos, scars or marks for me, thank you. Either way it is a form of self expression that some people have a great affinity for. I personally feel people in the military have "special privileges" to have as much ink as they like. They are usually patriotic and have paid some dues to have that war paint on for life.
The changes I make to my body are temporary. Such as make up, nail polish, maybe hair dye on occasion but nothing as to last a lifetime. My body is my temple and I try to treat it as such. I want to go out just like I cam in to this world. With what God gave me only and nothing more.
Is not not completely taboo in some religions? I believe Judaism does not allow you to be interred in a Jewish cemetery if you have one due to their belief system.
It's all personal choice and self expression. If you feel good about it good for you, if you don't that's OK too.

I, personally, love tasteful tats on both men and women.
I agree that anything over the top or not easily covered is too much, but then most of my back is covered. I have 3 tats on my back and 1 above my (meow).
All can be covered and have special meaning to me. I am also looking to get 2 more (my kids nick names) on each ankle.

As far as tattoos - I generally don't have a problem with them and consider them self expression. I may not like them - really hard to pull off face tattoos - but that doesn't necessarily make them ghetto. Ghetto, to me, is the "Dick Sucka" tattoo someone had a shot of. Pictures of your baby daddy and/or baby daddy's mama are also slipping into ghetto.
